I always kinda thought Eagles D was overrated and KC was underrated. They got talent, but not sure if their coaching is as good. Look at Eagles sched and look who they faced, heck in the playoffs they faced DJ, and a 4th string qb. Theyre still really good, but just inflated #s like how our offense does against the NFC east.

We dropped 40 on them and KC dropped 38 on them. I guarantee our D does better if we were in this game

Might be an indication that the Cowboys need to work on their offense this offseason....

Still, we all know our defense kept us in it.

I think our defense would have fared better against the Chiefs than Philthy's defense did.

Stats do not always give the whole story. Remember in 2003 when the Boys had the so called number one defense in the NFL by yards? We were nowhere near that good.

You look at the critical plays in those Super Bowls and what does that tell you? Just as many big mistakes as big plays.

The Chiefs took that big mistake Hurts made and rallied around it; if that had not happened I think the Birds would have walked away with it.
AND that was a bid DEFENSIVE PLAY was it not?

But HISTORY (not cherry picking a certain number of years to make your point) says that more often then not the better D wins the big games.

Even now when the NFL has become like the NBA and is trying to make good D illegal.

Those defensive rankings are misleading. The Rams had the best defense in the NFL last year. The KC defense this year was the #2 pass rushing defense.

I think your making a biased point here. The defense is every bit as important as the offense as it would appear.
