I just can't find a way or think of a reason to hate the Titans.

I want us to beat them like a rented mule...but just don't have any bad feelings toward them like I do for other teams.

That's true.

If anything I sometimes feel sorry for the players on that team because I think that front office, under bud adams, has royally screwed that team up with the cap and other areas.

I write the above in jest somewhat.... but they are concerns as well...

True it only makes you feel sorry for them. I'll just stick with the fact Tenn is just another team standing in out way. They are trying to take food off our table. :laugh2:

I never understood that one... "beat them like a rented mule"... is there some historical info that led to that saying?

Did people ever really rent mule's?

I hate the Titans because I'm almost sure at one time or another either a player, coach, cheerleader or a member of their families have put ketchup on a hot dog. And Only weirdos put ketchup on hot dogs and I hate weirdos.

I still hate them for the Thanksgiving day game in 1997. They had just moved to Tennessee and we were 6-6 at the time. Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, we had all of our guns but the team had fallen apart that year under Barry Switzer. But a four game win streak and we'd be in.

And the Titans that year weren't very good. But our defense could not stop them for anything. They held the ball in that game for almost 40 minutes of the 60. Watching a team grind the ball at you on 12 minute drives + turkey = severe indigestion. I learned to hate Fisher that day (and our defense but that's another story).
