Can we at least have some agreement that we have possible viable youth on this OL gelling potentially.
Just for starters it's nice to have youth like Hoffman and Beebe developing some much-needed strength inside at C and that is already head and shoulders better than when Badaiaz was in there.
This OL has some serious growing to do but at least we have some young talent growing together, this will be the franchise strong suit.
I'm just trying to look at this roster and find some area of potential strength and I believe that this OL has the ability to become a top unit in 2025.

Totally agree. Pair them up with a non senior citizen OL coach, and an OC who understands modern football scheme and strategy to be used as the staple to this offense. Then they can genuinely be successful with consistency.

The return to a 2016 power run game style is the type of offense that needs to be implemented.
Run game dominant with timely play action.

Need a little better talent at RB1 to serve as the bellcow, a better HC and OC with actual understanding of 2025 NFL run game schemes and an oline coach not teaching outdated fundamentals/blocking techniques to make it happen.

Git r' done Jerry.
One offseason COULD do all of this.
I won't hold my breath though.

I agree that the OL has some talent starting with Tyler. I think Beebe will be good. Perhaps even very good. I want to like Guyton but I am not totally sold on him. Of the two I like Beebe much better. Steele may just be playing himself into one more year with the team. He is always a border line decision for me. Hoffman and Bass have opportunities with Martin likely gone. There is potential with the current group but the team likely needs more either in the draft or from FA. The later round draft picks are places to find guys who can develop and contribute.

We have a lot of expiring contracts on our OLine after the 2025 season. Stephen, better get his crap together and should be trying to extend T. Smith, Hoffman and Bass in the off season.

A big part of this season regardless if we keep MM or not will be getting rid of Schotty and Solari

Hoffman and Bass have to show it against better teams before I see them as anything but decent starters and good backup
as of yet have not seen them show what would be needed to make this OL capable of dealing with the best defenses in the NFL

Most need to go. A new HC should be able to hire his own staff.
But Fassel has does a good job with ST’s other than fake punts. So if Kerry keeps him for the new HC, I am ok with that.

They best get an entire new training staff also.

But yes, the OL has some players they can work with.

Britt Brown has been with the team for how long and look at our hamstring injury return rate...not sure what the data is there but with my eyes and ears on the league it's definitely an outlier and an issue...

I agree Jazz, made this comment somewhere else and it resonates. We need a staff that has skins in the wall in the current game of football, with current schemes and training methodologies. Not the same methods from 20 years ago.

Just as JJ will likely hire the most up-to-date and relevant physicians and PR actioners to operate on his players with MODERN technology, he needs to take that into coaching to get a MODERN staff

Its wild to me that people love the direction of the OL but wants the OL coach and OC gone. If the young guys are being developed properly whats the issue?

And people doubt our squirrel brained GM....

if you could provide evidence our current HC will be here, sure

if ytou cant, than all we re doing is wasting time for the next HC to come here and be another waste.

Can you fire the tenured HC? who happens to be the GM and owner? no than why do you expect something different?

Whoever hired this staff brought in a few guys who dont know their jobs. we all know why zimmer was brought back and on whos orders, and we all know Harris knows hes going to be stone walled.

Offensive lines are often just brought together and made a powerful unit. Myself, I see Dallas panning for gold and finding a strong batch of gold!
