OMG! check out espn's homepage!

No surprise there. As fans, some of us better get used to it because there won't be anything nice said until we string a few victories together going into the playoffs.

the more they try otherwise, the more they just cement dallas "america's team"

(we have better fans in in 49 other statest than in TX)

im really starting to hate ESPN. thats almost as bad as Werder saying that Parcells wont return unless TO is gone.:starspin

Good....this will take the spotlight off Dallas and put it on New Orleans.

let's see how they handle it.

It's not like they weren't propping the heck out of us the last few weeks. Now we get drilled and it's off to a new greatest team of the day.

why complain about it?

Our team got owned at home in a huge game...1000's of their fans were there cheering in OUR stadium

it was an embarrassing display of football...

I was amazed by that. When Deuce carried the ball it reminded me of Moose in other stadiums.

I'm really not surprised at this. Did anyone expect ESPN to praise us after that drubbing we took in our own house? It's the old "freedom of choice" adage. You know you're not going to like what you see when you click the ESPN link so leave it alone for a few days until the dust settles. Actually we have more pressing things to worry about than whatever ESPN decides to print.

How about a lifetime prescription of smelling salts for Mike Zimmer?

That's the way it goes.

The Cowboys had a good story going with Romo's success and their winning streak, but the Saints came in and simply took it away.

Brees stole Romo's thunder by having a spectacular night (and season) and the Saints team as a whole just demolished the Cowboys.

That's the way it goes - to the victor go the spoils. If Dallas had won, they'd be getting the accolades. But they didn't and they're not.

All credit should go to New Orleans for a convincing win. They look like the NFC's best team to me.

After the performance that the cowboys showed last night, from the top to the bottom, they do not deserve to be called America's Team IMO.

That was one of the worst displays I have seen from this team since possibly the Texans first game.

At this point the cowboys deserve a smacking in the media.

Now they just have to rebound from it.

Flavor of the month, we go through this many times.

In the 90's it was Denver when they won back to back, then the Pats, even the Skins have proclaimed it, now the Saints.......Cowboys will always be America's Team, Tex should've gotten a patent.

I see it as another exploitation of a tragedy (Katrina) for the sake of a game as well as another display of the ulterior motives of certain people. The Cowboys are America's team because everywhere you go, you see their fans in stadiums, and people either love them with a passion, or hate them with a passion. I also see a little anti-Cowboys bias in their title - not that it's unexpected from ESPN. Would they be calling the Saints "America's Team" if they trounced the Bears or somebody else? I'm certain they wouldn't be.

Everybody that beats us and is having some level of success declares themselves the new America's Team. It's like clockwork. Don't worry about it to much.

LOL

Are you really suprised?
They have been trying to take that moniker away from us for years?
Its fine... ESPN and Enquire-like journalism....

Now we get back to work... the Romo tour has been canceled... back to the studio
