Of course there hasn't been a real clutch kicking opportunity yet. But is anyone else as excited about our kicking situation as I am?

Folk has been perfect. He had some tough kicks yesterday off the dirt portion which was a concern and yet he nails them.

I agree. He had a few nice kicks yesterday. At that point in the game they were both big kicks. I actually feel good about our kicking game.

For some reason, I have total confidence in this guy. It's hard to explain exactly, but somehow he just looks like a good pro kicker. He carries himself like a vet out there. Even if he misses one, I won't be thinking this is the beginning of the end for him -- I'll just expect him to make the next one.

It's early, but it looks like this was a great draft pick.

Same here. I feel confident when he is called on. Can't explain it just feel good about him

I feel great about the guy as well, although a few of his XP's yesterday were not exactly right down the pipe. heh.

Actually I thought that 47 yard kick was big. I'm glad he's getting opportunities to kick from variety of distances. Hope he continues to do well. At some point he may hit an off day or so but he and us will just get through it.

It sure was. And Mickey said in pregame that Folk was having all kinds of trouble kicking off the dirt from less than that distance, and then when it really counted he nailed it right down the middle. That shows that maybe the guy is a gamer who gets better when the spotlight is on.
