My birthday dinner from the age of 5 to about 16 was my Mamaw's nana puddin and her homemade French fries with some Brooks hot ketchup. Her fries are what's the rage now in the high end burger joints and she was double frying them back in the 50's.

Nice! The crust on the one I had was banana bread. Honestly, the moment I tasted it, it became my favorite dessert.

I pigged out on wafers UNTIL my mother introduced me to Fig Newtons. In hindsight, it is likely she used newtons as a diversionary tactic to stop me from quickly cleaning her out of wafers every month.
