I could see a good strategy in this draft being to take a little pressure off of Micah so he isn't forced to rush full-time. That, and so when his contract comes around, we have a leg to stand on. It's not like they won't make him filthy rich.

I think one thing they could be thinking in this draft is that Parsons needs help.

Or here's a better way to look at it, make Parsons more diverse by using him sort of as the Queen on defense. Parsons has the biggest impact on defense when he's moving around and you don't know where he's coming from.

We also need more pass rushers. Tank is more of a 3 down guy, but he's getting long in the proverbial tooth. So they should prepare for life without him.

On the other hand, you could also help Micah by scoring more points, so there's not so much pressure on him in the first place.

I would like to see them address both sides of the ball. But whoever they draft, I just want a good player.

Our pass rush faded down the stretch, and we never saw Micah at LB again.

I think they’re looking at DEs to try and get out of Tanks contract.

Sam looks promising so one more stud would give us a pair of book ends then you let Parsons just wreak havoc from everywhere.

This is what a smart team would do but........
