I don't know about everyone else here, but I'm getting excited for the upcoming baseball season. I think this might be the year for my Braves!!

Can't wait... Don't expect a whole lot out of my Mariners this year, but things are looking up. But I'll just be glad to have baseball to watch.

Can't wait, my Dodgers didn't do a lot of things in the offseason, but I have faith in Mattingly and the McCourts need to give the franchise over to a new owner. I'm going up to SF during the Opening Week and we have a series with SF in LA. I'm going to be repping my Kershaw jersey up there ;)

I'll get interested in baseball about 2 days after the playoffs start. Regular season doesn't mean anything, as proven last year.

Ummm.... The regular season matters MORE in baseball than any other sport. Only 4 teams per league get in. If you don't win in the regular season, you don't get the opportunity to win in the playoffs.

And what did last year prove about your theory?

That a team that won 90 games in the regular season, was considered to have the best pitching in baseball, entered the playoffs (where power pitching is even more important), and won the World Series?

I'm confused.

Or you are. One of us is.

worked out well against the SFO Giants eh?

We only had 3/4 of them. Now we have 4 of a kind. :D
The Giants played great. I'm not taking anything away from them at all. I was happy to see that we put up a better fight than their World Series opponent. It's hard to stop a team that's hitting and pitching as well as they were. But it's a new year, and it's time for the Phils to return to the World Series.

This will be the first time I've lived in a city that actually has a team so I might get more interested and try to scoop some cheap tickets.

I lived outside of KC for a while but driving as far as I would have to see the Royals wouldn't make much sense.

The Jays are on the rise. Domination to come in a few years. Anthopoulos has done wonders !!

Also, Bautista to break Bonds' HR record !!

In his magical season he was only 20 short of breaking it.
