Opinion: Look for Romo to get a contract next week!

I just have a gut feeling that if we beat Chicago.....and Romo has at least an above average game.....

i think Tuesday or Wensday Morning, we'll see articles up that Romo got an Extension.

I think the earliest would be mid-season. I may even consider it happening during the bye week, which would be after 7 games. That is if he is playing well.

More than likely it will happen after the season. Maybe after the regular season and before the playoffs. That could give him extra motivation going into the playoffs with a new contract.

I still think Jerry will wait until much later in the season.

Romo's price is set at top dollar already now, so I don't think Jerry will see the need to rush it.

Despite what many of the talking heads say, I don't see his asking price rising every week.

I think they'll wait till the end of the season, don't forget we can still franchise him so Jerry definitely isn't feeling any pressure to get it done quickly.
