I'm not a draft guy. So I will defer to the more knowledgeable here. Opinions on these guys?
  1. https://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/cowboysb_logo.gifDallas Cowboys: Siaki Ika, NT, Baylor https://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/college/Baylor_logo.gif
The Cowboys are deseprate for help at receiver, but they also want to upgrade the interior of their defensive line to help them disrupt the Eagles and 49ers offenses.
Siaki Ika is a massive nose tackle who can apply a bit of pressure on the quarterback.

    I like this guy!!!!

58.https://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/cowboysb_logo.gifDallas Cowboys: Noah Sewell, LB, Oregon https://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/college/Oregon_logo.gif

Mediocre-at-best draft writers criticized Charlie Campbell's breaking news story about one team removing Leighton Vander Esch from their draft board because of concerns regarding his neck. As always, Charlie was proven correct, as Vander Esch has missed plenty of time with his neck problems. The Cowboys need linebacker help as a result. Noah Sewell is a big linebacker, but covers well for one.

This guy is 6'2" and 254 pounds and runs a 4.64

    90.

https://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/cowboysb_logo.gifDallas Cowboys: Dontayvion Wicks, WR, Virginia https://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/college/Virginia_logo.gif
The Cowboys are desperate for a receiver, so it'd be shocking if they didn't draft one in the first three rounds.
Dontayvion Wicks is a lengthy receiver who broke out during his '21 season.

This guy is 6'2" 208 and 4.62 in the forty

    129.

    https://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/images/fball/cowboysb_logo.gifDallas Cowboys: Demarco Hellams, S, Alabama https://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/college/Alabama_logo.gif
Donovan Wilson is an impending free agent, so the Cowboys figure to target a safety at some point.
Demarco Hellams needs to show improved pass-coverage ability.

    6'1" 208 4.57 40 time

Happy to provide my two bits. Do think this will get moved to the "Draft Zone" sub-forum.

Regarding Siaki Ika:
- 6-4 at 335lbs
-Quite surprising given his size...he rates higher in pass rush than as run defender
-41 college games under his belt
-2022 All-America Third Team
-Sometimes not good, sound tackler
-Good, quick feet
-Was supposedly quick for his size - but combine agility numbers were all lower than the 15th percentile (Bad!)
-Size, feet are best features. Tough to block.
-Quite disruptive, but not often closing the deal w/a tackle

I've seen him mocked all over the place! Guess is late 2nd or 3rd round

Still may be NFL gold. College highlights and combine numbers have fooled many scouts, GM's, and fanbase. Bad mechanics can be taught. Size, talent and speed, are givens.

Walter Football has him as a 1st.
I have a different view of slotting. If this guy can perform at the pro level and fits a need, the salary is of no concern to me. Five year contract, so he stays if he's good. If it's a whiff, that is the risk with almost any first rounder. You hate missing out on a player. And I know there will be people who suggest not drafting for need. But this season may be a special circumstance. I don't believe this team is that far from the top. But then I have been wrong many times before.

Walter Football had Dorance Armstrong as 1st round pick 5 years back. Reading many of the scouting reports on Ika have listed one of his biggest weaknesses as playing with a lack of upper body strength. He’s not going to be able to just use his size to get by at the next level and many mocks are accordingly starting to have him as a 3rd round pick as they work out where what actual pro scouts think of him!

I've seen him late 1st. Also seen him mocked 4th round. He's a bull in a china shop. Knocks lots of players over. Sometimes his teammates or himself.

To his credit he battles. Can be immovable against double teams. Saw him do a 360 degree spin move towards the QB that was quite a show and kinda effective. Crazy, but he's got some dance moves. He was completely non-freaky at combine, but is uber-freaky on the field. He can get that mass a'moving.

This guy is a true wild-card. What he is, value-wise...is voodoo art assessment.

The last two monster sized disruptors? Vita Vea and Jordan Davis have had their WTH moments, but haven't exactly tore down the league.

I don't see Ika going in top 70 picks. I'll be watching w/curiosity.

I really like Ika and think he would be an asset on Dallas D line.

With that said, I seriously doubt he is drafted before the 3rd round due to his speed and quickness.

If we wind up losing Schultz, I like at #26 Dalton Kincaid from Utah. IF he's still there. He may not be.

Ika might not get drafted in the 2nd round and is highly doubtful to be drafted in the 1st round.

Noah Sewell is 6'1-1/2", 246.

He had 27 reps on the bench which is good.

I don't like Ika. I'm afraid he would be another Poe. I would rather take a player that I know would be good.

I don't think he has that elite length that we always target.

Ika does fit the Cowboys mold. It seems like Quinn likes those true nose tackle types, like Bohanna and Hankins. I don't see much in him... he's not a pass rusher and he doesn't have much stamina, so he looks like just a two-down plugger. I wouldn't spend a first on him at all.

Sewell is kind of a dark horse. I don't really see him as a scheme fit for Quinn (he loves the hybrid dudes), but he has the athleticism that Dallas covets at LB. We have pretty much drafted high-octane LBs nonstop since the days of Bruce Carter.

I think Timb2 might have it right with Dante Stills.

I wasn't impressed with Wicks...

What is your opinion on Clemson’s DT Bresee. I realize he is not a NT but he is a big athletic DT. Where do you see him going in the draft.
