This year has been the best year ever, in my opinion, and my history as a fan. And I don't just mean the in-house coverage; I'm talking about their coverage of the team in general.

People sometimes say they don't like Spagnola, or Eatman, or whatever. I like all of those guys and our females are all top-notch. But I particularly like Iisha's approach and desire to really learn about the game.

It's really about what they all bring together. And their producers stepped up their game in 2023. I wonder who's behind that, and the much better video quality from camp. Whoever it is, good work.

The biggest addition or improvement has been from a production aspect. We have Nate Newton sounding interesting. We have a fresher-sounding Mickey Spagnola. Say what you want, Youmans is good. But he knows it, and I think wants to prove it. The only problem with that is, we already see it, and he can sometimes talk over Stanback and Bill. But that's a great crew right there.

Hailey Sutton was a tad green last year, perhaps a bit apprehensive. But man, this year it's like she's been at it for a decade. Total pro right there. Eatman is improving on camera, and does better when he's just being himself rather than trying to imitate Youman's energetic style. He always keeps it real and speaks from a lot of experience. You need that Youmans energy but not from the whole staff. I'm definitely leaving out the newer, talk show guys/gals. But I can't complain about any of them.

I think Broaddus got sidetracked a bit from the pandemic last year, but once he digs in, he's got some interesting takes on various issues, whether we agree with him all the time or not. Patrick No C, and others do well, too.

Who could forget Jesse Hollie?I like how he's serious sometimes, and then not afraid to goof off a little to lighten things up.

Jess does well, although I sense she projects a little conflict somewhere, but I haven't paid attention to it all that much, so I could be reading her wrong. She's a near spitting image of one of my ex's, like the resemblance is crazy. Same first name, too. But my ex was probably crazier, truth be told. I'm also leaving out some of the females because I can't remember their names off-hand.

We also have our resident media personnel who work for outside publications, a conglomerate that I also happen to have a contract with, although I'm currently not actively publishing, and my niche is a different topic. But I plan on revamping that back up in January or shortly after.

Anyway, I just wanted to give the media folks their due propers. They deserve it. Keep that coverage coming and I'll never even be tempted to watch Dip Bayless ever again, and I promised myself to never intentionally give him even a single click — even if he does co-host with Michael Irvin.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the crew at DC and elsewhere. And, lastly, I can't forget Reality, all the mods, and the other commonfolk posters who make this such and awesome place to be a fan.

Thank You all, for doing such a bang up job around here and out there.

Yes, Patrick. And the other guy, Shannon. The middle-aged blonde is attractive. Her football insight is keen even for a male, which makes her a little more attractive.

Yes I think Broadus has done the best job of getting hold of him self. By that I mean, when he first came on he was overly aggressive and didactic pushing other commentators aside. It appears like he is taking the advice media teachers or other commentators to chill. He is better for it

Should the Cowboys sign recently-released OL Alex Leatherwood?

Does Leatherwood not fit the bill of a Jerry Jones reclamation project? Unlike previous controversial signings during the Jones era, though, Leatherwood doesn't have a history with off-field incidents that would otherwise make it difficult for fans to root for his success.

Leatherwood was the No. 17 overall pick in the 2021 draft, but seemingly nobody expected him to get taken that high. Most experts had a second round or late first round grade on him and the Raiders, then led by Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden, made him the fourth offensive linemen off the board.

As a left guard, the Alabama product won the Outland Trophy in 2020 as the nation's top offensive linemen. Despite having a higher ceiling (and floor) at guard, Gruden moved Leatherwood to right tackle as a rookie and his 6-foot-5, 312-pound frame struggled to contend with speed off the edge.

The Cowboys have one of the best media teams all throughout the NFL. I have more access to the Cowboys than any fan has to any of the other 31 teams. The training camp coverage is especially good. A lot of teams won’t even show highlights of their camp.

Strong crew indeed. My favorites are Eatman, No C Walker, and Stanback.

Fixed it for ya. I think the middle aged blonde is maybe Kristi Scales the longtime sideline gal? She's been around the game a long time. I wanna say 25 years or more. And that's just with the Cowboys. I suspect she did similar duty elsewhere before them.

None of the gals is super hot anymore. Except maybe Ambar when she gets dolled up. But I do miss the hotties like Sydney and Lindsey but those gals were too hot to avoid being scooped up and turned into a trophy wife sooner or later. Taylor Stern wasn't hard to look at either though a different type of hot than the two blondies. I do like the mix this year. It's just it's too many damn shows!! Once the season starts there won't be enough hours in the day to consume them all.

Her voice drives me crazy, it half looks like they want her on the show at times

Hailey Suttons last day was Saturday. She’s taking a job in another state I believe.
Say what? Why? She looked very happy here.

Whaat? I"m not all that concerned with looks, and Taylor Stern was/is cute. I'm not going to pick on anyone. But they could obviously make an upgrade or two.

I looked into this a little bit last night, and I think Derrick Eagleton has a lot to do with the overall improvements and quality of the media productions.

There was a month or so there where there really wasn't all that much coverage. Usually, during those times, I'll watch Law, and Boss Cowboy, who I think are both insightful.

There's also a Youtube channel called Double Move. I'm almost positive, whoever that is is also a member of our board. It doesn't matter. It's still a good channel. I have to think the Cowboys responded to adding more talent because of the uptick in YouTubers having success like Voch, and several others.

I disagree with it being too many damn shows. As long as the quality is good, I can watch shows all day and sometimes end up rerunning or finding other shows because some of us around here are junkies, as you probably know.

S.S. Pass2run loves propaganda.
I have an appreciation for actual media coverage rather than the garbage news coverage. I enjoy staying informed over what is actual propaganda. If you know anything about journalism, we have an objective crew overall. None of them are really afraid to criticize the team. I've always felt our fans are somewhat envious of all the media folks.. Because they have cushier jobs.

By the way, the irony in your "S.S." attempt at an insult isn't lost on me. How cowardly of you.

Thank You. Hilarious mistake on my end. But he probably doesn't think it's funny, which is why he emphasizes "no C."

Living in England like I do and working from home for the past 24 years, I have been very fortunate to be able to listen to hours of broadcasts off DC.Com. Derek has done a brilliant job freshening the shows up every year. I like all those taking part and feel they all contribute something. Everyone is allowed an opinion good or bad.
