Our Run game is not dominant. We need it to be in the Playoffs!

Our run game is very good, but to run against teams like SF and Philly( at full strength, Davis back ) in the playoffs we need more POWER at left guard.
Moving Tyler Smith to left guard, and Tyron Smith to left tackle, when he gets 100%, would do this. If Tyron is not 100%, we don’t do it.
I realize our O line is playing well, but it needs to be a little better. Tyler Smith is struggling a little at tackle with his pass blocking. I think he would play MUCH better at guard. He would be a road grader in run blocking.

If Tyron comes back at 90% of himself and tyler plays guard, it will be.

I think the current Oline is not the line that will start in the playoffs, some shuffling is coming, hope it works for the better.

Our run game is good enough we rank seventh. It’s our run defense that needs to be dominant. Opponents are going to attack us on the ground and we have to stop it. If we don’t tighten up against the run it will be our downfall.

Our run game is very good and combined with a resurgent passing game has fueled Dallas' rise to the top scoring offense the last 5 weeks.

With Tyron back in the mix soon, the offense could level up even further.

Last 2 games have been tight enough against the run. I think its unrealistic to expect us to be shut down run defense and shut down pass defense. There's not a defense in the NFL that is elite against both.

I agree. We need to improve vs the run, but we also need to get better running the ball vs teams like SF, Philly, Tampa Bay and the Skins( Commanders).

Wouldn’t it be great if we smash mouthed the Whiners with our run game and passed it all over them with play action!!! Tyler Smith at guard would improve our chances of doing this.

Good enough, is NOT good enough in the playoffs!!!

I never said anything about shutting down the pass and the run, but we have to get better against the run. We need to make opponents throw to beat us and get after them with our pass rush.

Seems like more and more people here are getting scared of teams we might face in the play offs. To me, the play offs are a tournament. They have nothing to do with the regular season. Even the worst team could beat the best on a good day and advance.

Last year we were outclassed by the Niners in all areas. Just like we were outclassed by any true contender over the course of last season.

This year we have already beaten a few of them. With our backup QB too. Now that lost shoot out with the Packers still hurts, but overall they're exuding a pleasent sense of calm whenever they're not trying to do something funny (yes I'm looking at you Mike with that awesome "go for it" decision in a first quarter).

So I'd advise you guys to take it one game at a time and worry about the playoffs when we have made them and know who / what we're up against. I say we get the win against the Colts next.

Here is where KM needs to get in these guys faces and tell them WE ARE RUNNING THE DAMMMM BALL....so tighten your jockstraps, chinstraps, belts, shoes and let's blow them off the line. And then folllowup and do it in the playcalling. Not any of this run a little here, then forget about it and pass, and then try to get back to the run. The line needs to know to get into the proper tough mindset. Dallas does have some horses that can do it, but you got to know what you want them to do. Not enough to let them assume. Tyron, Tyler, Martin and Steele. And you have the young TEs too. KM needs to lose the babyface and grow a man's face for once.

its better then you think, its MOORE holding us back from those games where once the run game is going off, he comes out and Throws 2 straight series. its working 8-3 stats it is..If Moore wanted too he could use all 3 of our rbs 40+ times game and dominate the run game. its about winning not proving you can run a lot. we actually have a very good Passing QB.no need to emulate others offenses...

you device a GP against an opponent's weakness'.. some said we didn't run enough in NY yet the game flow al the penalty's getting us behind the chains etc and NY DL indicated Pas more but the post game remarks were we should have run more

really

38 runs 30 passes; thats pass happy? not enough runs?

that balance IMO.

we need a balanced team not just to be dominate run team, keep the defense off balance and id say clean up the penalty's and you see the balance with Dak back. we can be dangerous run and pass and that what i like!

its the dang penaltys and defense that can't stop a opponent's run game that more that need to improve in the playoff's

you cant iwn game with 14 penalty's in the playoffs against teams that can own TOP.. you simply don't get enough offensive snaps to catch up.. sure, lots of punts and stalled rives hardly on the skill players, its the OL committing penalty's killing any momentum and calling back big plays, the GB game just cant play like that and win.
