NO one in the secondary can cover but Diggs. we struggle to rush the passer. Parsons will never reach his full potential because we don't value DT. EVEn Ray Lewis cried for a DT. He fell off for a few years until he got another DT.

Quinn will be on the phone with Sherman tonight. And we keep hearing this scheme needs a stud FS more than a stud corner so let’s see what happens there

Why? Corner is real deep and if they can get one of the top 3 safeties, our secondary is greatly improved.

He can be here for 5 to 10+ years.... it is a bad DT draft. It's still possible to upgrade the DT position in the future or have some of the DTs drafted from the past few years turn into something decent.

I would absolutely sign him tomorrow and move on with the draft

Move up and grab Trevon or possibly stay put and get Asante Samuel jr or Holland. If we come out tomorrow with a S and CB ill be thrilled with our defensive change

I have a feeling we will see a corner and safety selected in the 2nd round so things IMO will look a lot better tomorrow night.

Nice rant OP. But which CB did u want at 10 after Surtain and Horn were gone? Relxax Francis and be happy we got a damn good defensive player, maybe the best, plus an extra pick.
People think we can just bully our way into taking players or magically change who teams before us select. It’s pretty insane.

I’d really like to take a safety and CB in the top 50 picks. It’s still possible so I’m not too worried.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're eyeing Melifonwu. Fits the the profile for both McClay and Quinns defense.

Also good chance he's there at 44, and I get the feeling they're going for quantity in this draft
