Opening game of the season, who will be on the roster, who won't be on the roster???? Please give your thoughts

The LBers will play considering Dmo will probably not be active till late in the season or at all. Both RBs will probably split carries with whatever RB we draft.

Who is Campbell? Did not realize they signed him. I guess I missed it.

Too early to evaluate this. As a lot will depend on the draft.
But as of now all can contribute.
Campbell soup duh!!!! Parris Campbell, I mean do I have to help you mods with everything, I know a way to solve these issues........................... (cue coog jokes in 3,2,1!)

I really think Williams could be a real contribute as a running back, but more in the passing game as a blocker and a receiver which he is really good at

Sanborn will start and contribute probably the most. Think he will be a good player.

Fowler will probably start and/or be part of the main rotation. Another good signing

Solomon I think will be most improved under Eberflus IMO

Sanders, Campbell probably camp bodies
The others not named are low risk/high reward (they all are really as we got all except maybe Fowler for next to nothing) players that may contribute or be duds

The two in bold are the ones I think are the least likely to make the roster.

I think at RB, Williams will have a role as a No.2 bruising back, but if a drafted RB beats out Sanders, I don't think he'd be kept because he adds no special teams value.

I'm not sure that Campbell can beat out Tolbert and Turpin even if we don't draft another receiver, and I don't think we keep him as a fourth receiver although considering that our other options are Flournoy, Mingo and Brooks. I supposed he could make it over a few of those if we keep six.

Too early to tell. I juries play a huge part in deciding who plays. Who they draft will also impact the position groups.

Samborn and Fowler will play a lot. Murray and turner and Thomas rotational. Williams rb 2 or rb 3. Jones, campbell, elam and sanders won't make it to week 3.

I just don't see Sanders being kept as a No. 3. We might cut him and put him on the PS, where we had Dalvin Cook last year. At this point in his career, he probably is about on that level.

Sanborn and Javonte start. If we don't draft an early rookie rb. Fowler will get a lot of reps, Thomas as well will rotate in and out. I also think Elam sees the field quite a bit and could possibly start with Diggs not ready. Murray will get his opportunities, and may play extensively.

Im not sure Sanders makes the team. I don't know his contract details, and maybe the scheme was just wrong for him in Carolina. Chuba didn't have any trouble though.

Not sure about any of the others. I'm guessing they are strictly depth/hopeful developmental.

With these guys playing, we will suck again.

Both of the Diggs at least gives hope, as we disparately need help at WR.

My guess they’d love to get out that 5.9m base for Murray. If Jaylon Walker is available at 12 I think he’s a major candidate for the pick and move to WiLL.
Depending on the draft I don’t think they keep both RBs on active roster. One will be moved to Practice Squad.
Campbell and Turner!
Jones will depend on how comfortable they are with Hoffman and Bass and maybe even the tackle they converted to guard from last season’s draft.

Fowler and Sanberg (depending on camp injury) are the only 2 I’d really consider locks!
