Am I a bad person if this makes me feel better about Dez? I hope Harvins fine and hate to see ANYONE hurt, but it just goes to show you how much more serious Dez's twisted ankle could have been.

Harvin gives Vikings a scare at practice

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on July 31, 2010 3:13 PM ET

It wouldn't be a Vikings practice without a little Percy Harvin injury scare.

The massively talented wide receiver left practice on a cart on Saturday for an undisclosed injury. Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune notes that no one even noticed Harvin get hurt, and offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell didn't even know Harvin was hurt.

Those early indications suggest that the injury won't prove to be major. We'll let you know later Saturday if Brad Childress updates Harvin's status.

I guess I'm an evil human being. I don't hope for anyone to be injured, but when a top guy goes down for anyteam in our division, or in this case an NFC favorite like the Vikings, I don't feel bad at all. I'm happy about it. I feel sorry for the man, but injuries happen and our feelings have nothing to do with them happening or not happening, so when it happens and that helps the Cowboys, I'm not feeling bad at all about it.

Personally, when Favre comes back, I would like nothing better than to see teams take the Saints game plan of attacking relentlessly and see someone break one of his ribs or dislocate a shoulder...old people are more fragile, and I don't like Favre anyway.

If that's evil, then I'll own it.

He is going to be fine. Was riding the bicycle and playing tennis with trainers afterwards.

I hate to see anyone who's fun to watch play get hurt and Percy Harvin is fun to watch play.
