Package Next Years 4th - For An Extra 4th This Year ?

Should the Cowboys try and package their 4th rounder in 2007.........
plus a 6th this year (#182)........
and maybe one of this years 7th's (#224)......

IN EXCHANGE FOR..............

A high (top ten) pick in this years 4th round?

Ryan O'Callaghan - OT - California (ranked #81)
Jonathan Scott - OT - Texas (ranked #98)
Isaac Sowells - OT - Indiana (ranked #99)

Kyle Williams - DT - LSU (ranked #73 - could reunite with Spears)
Babatunde Oshinowo - DT - Stanford (ranked #93)
Rodrique Wright - DT - Texas (I dont care what u say, this dude's worth a 4th!)
Gabe Watson - DT - Michigan (if size matters, he's got it: 6'4" , 339 lbs)

Ko Simpson - FS - South Carolina (ranked #58 - a bunch of u liked Ko in 2nd, I REALLY like him in the 4th)
Calvin Lowry - FS - Penn St. (ranked #82 - Good 4th round consolation prize)
Pat Watkins - FS - FSU (another good stocking stuffer)

Demetrius Williams - WR - Oregon (ranked #56 Not a huge need but great value here)


We should do what it takes, to aquire an extra 4th rounder this year.
Then pick a couple of these players and turn a mediocre draft, into an excellent draft.

IF we want to move up, todays 5th and 2 6th's would get it done.

If we trade away our next years 4th we will be right back in the same boat next year of scrambling to get our 4th back. But I could see us moving up to get another 4th earlier in the round.

Yeah, that would get it done, but I still want to have more picks in this years draft. In the 6th and 7th, we need to draft a plethera OL (IMO) and hope at least one of them can make the team and contribute some.

BTW, I almost forgot to add Orien Harris - DT - Miami, to my list of the best players still remaining.

Harris, is the best Hurricane still on the board. Some of the earliest 2006 mocks I saw, had Harris as a mid to late 1st rounder. Not sure why he's dropped so far but he'd definitely be worth a 4th IMO.
