Well guys, I just saw the midnight premiere of Paranormal Activity 2 and it had to be the scariest movie I've ever seen. Now I'm a scary/thriller movie buff, so I've been down this alley plenty of times. This movie far surpassed the first one of the two. If you thought the first one hit hard, this one bring that and an extra pair of cajones. Not going to give to much away, but it was a very good watch and I hope they come out with a third one.

The only thing I found "creepy" not scary about the first 1 was whn his wife staried at him all night, not a fan of scary movies they just do nothing for me but if I here people talking about this alot then I'll watch whn Redbox gets it

I enjoyed the first one because of the suspense. Watching that chick be drug off the bed and down the hallway was pretty cool.

I'll wait to hear a few more reviews before I drop $10.

The first one was OK, but I just didn't get the hype. It had it's moments, sure, but it seemed like much ado about nothing. I watched it like some podcasters recommended: late at night, alone, lights off...didn't do much for me. Maybe seeing it in the theater would've helped.

I very much like how it was marketed though and am proud of what these microbudget independents were able to accomplish. It was really incredible and it's no wonder why they cranked out another one so quickly.

I'll check out part 2 via Netflix rental, I think, but that's about it unless I read some really mind blowing reviews.

I'm sorry, but Paranormal Activity was the most ******** movie ever. Here's the whole movie:

Sleeping...sleeping...sleeping...loud noise...sleeping...loud noise...girl stands for 30 minutes...some talking...sleeping...sleeping....girl flies into camera...the end.

I'd give the 2nd movie a 6.

It was EXTREMELY unrealistic. Not one thing in the movie looked real. Defienetely looked cheaper than the first one.

Great rental, but save your money. Very dissapointed.

Agreed.

Although when things happened the movie was scary/creepy(not enough of it though)...it took WAAAY too long to get going.

The movie was 90 minutes long and nothing really happened until 60 minutes into it.

Just saw it last night.

thought it was pretty good.

I'm a suspense guy. This had a ton of suspense.

Yeah, it took a while to get going but it gave little instances of what was about to happen.

If you're a Saw, Hostel, Friday the 13th fan, I would pass.

But if you liked the original Halloween, Exorcist, Ring, etc. fan, I'd give it a try. There's a chance you would enjoy it.
