as Cowboys head coach has been to draft and/or develop OL. Where are the OL successes? Is not that he hasn't tried. He has tried repeatedly and failed consistently.

Why? Bad luck? Or is there something wrong with his method of evaluation? We do not have one stud on our offensive line. The closest thing we have to a stud is on IR - and even he is vulnerable to the speed rush. Hopefully Rivera will be better when he is fully recovered. Allen is pretty much done. Johnson is inadequate. Not sure about Petitti. Heck, maybe he'll turn out to be a good player. Peterman must be hopeless, or we would have seen him by now. Tucker is back up quality.

Top priorities for next season - a Center and a LG. This is LA's last season.

yeah and that was supposed to be his strength along with LB and we are sorry there too. Man the Dat injury really hurt us a lot.

Failure to find a kicker in training camp.
Drafting Peterman and Jacobs.
The DL rotation, not starting Ellis and Glover
The defensive game plan is horrible
Not having the right LBs

There's no question Parcells has failed miserably in upgrading the OL which is the worst part of the team. He has signed Ryan Young who was a waste and grossly overpaid an aging Rivera. He spent a 2nd on Johnson who has been a very mediocre center, a 2nd on Rogers who was a horrible pick and a 3rd on Peterman who can't even suit up for a game. Those mistakes are killing this team right now.

I'll say not developing a QB is #1 with not firing Zimmer a close second.

Rebuilding the O-line will come. The items I mentioned I'n not so sure about.

The only problem i have with Parcell is, he has not provide a long term solution at the QB position. That's the only problem i have with him.

Just beat me to it saying not firing Zimmer. Heck i would jump off the fire Parcells bandwagon if he would fire Zimmer but then I would wonder what took so long and jump back on that wagon. But I guess firing Zimmer would be a step in the right direction. ;)

It's really amazing how hapless our OL is. And this from a coach who is known for favoring his front lines and claiming that the OL can influence the mentality of not just the entire offense, but the entire team.

Frankly-this has been the problem since post-Troy. Maybe this franchise is cursed?

getting rid of Jeff Robinson

Yep-even Ryan Longwell struggled this year b/c of the long snapper and holder gone in GB. ALL the mechanics have to work for the kicking game.

Yes, it is. In NE/NYJ, Parcells draftted some stud OL.

Maybe Jerry needs to hire a GM-double duty for ANY 60+ year old coach can really be a headache.
