Parker chooses to coach from the sidelines for the season

I would like to say I am surrprised but I am not. The way I have seen this man take time to individual coach someone up. He is much better served on them sidelines. Hate this kinda! They got me excited this season and as we all know they eventually let us down. Double edge sword here. Ugh!!

I think for a guy who is in his first year as a DC its the right move. This way he can see his players close up; evaluate them. Not just for the season but game to game. Who is on it and who is not.

I’m happy to hear this. Being in the box has its advantages, but this is a new coach with a new defense, and I want him with the players in the moment

There's no one size fits all right answer. There have been great sideline coordinators and great booth coordinators.

The one's that can do both during a game are hall of fame worthy!!

I’m glad to see him on the sideline . In essence he’s the HC of the defense . All HC are on the sideline for a reason . The immediacy of the players coming off the field .
