It's clear that MP is still affected by that groin and or other nagging injuries.
He is able to show up in spot duties and it's often clear he doesn't have that destructive quality at all times.
He is able to put it all together at times and looks normal but it is more fleeting than before the injuries.
I'm sure the coaches are putting him on a pitch count due to the injuries. He is so crucial to the defenses success. It's obvious how average they are when he isn't in there. Let's hope he can heal up and be more healthy after the bye week.

This is football at this point in a season you are dealing with something whether it shows up on the injury report or not. Also after what the Eagles did to him teams will try to do the same thing. The really good players over come that, the knock on Haley was he was bad run defender teams ran at him and ran at him when he was in Dallas and they realized the myth was wrong.

Parsons had a strip sack yesterday, and thanks to the attention paid him, the Cowboys defense tallied five total sacks against a line that had surrendered seven all year.

Micah is struggling mightily out there.

I think it is a case where people are expecting two or three sacks every game along with a couple of TFL’s. That just isn’t always going to happen. Offenses are committing two and three guys to stop Micah, and that is going to often work. What that does though is open up opportunities for other guys like Williams, Tank, Fowler and Armstrong.

That the defense is killing it every game is, in large part, due to Parsons presence. He may still not quite be 100% but offenses aren’t going to just single Micah and see what happens. He’s going to get a ton of attention… which helps the other 10 guys.

We got 5 sacks, what do you dudes want?
He ran down 2 screens, and had a good game despite playing one of the best offensive lines in the league.

The problem isn't his limit, teams are essentially scared to pass the ball against us with or without Micah in there.

We have 29 sacks through 7 games. I remember during the 2011-2016 years that would be 5 away from the yearly total.

Teams are scheming to negate him and the pass rush.
Also yesterday he still should have 2 sacks. So he had 1/2 sacks and a forced fumble and essentially turned the game around. He looks fine

I didn't get that impression at all. I think they are trying to give him a rest at times so he can go 100% when he gets back in. Which is what happened yesterday....
Yeah. I was at the game and watched him a bunch. Detroit shifted their protection most plays to have the RB on Parsons side and had the TE on his side too quite a bit. MO was fighting double and triple teams.

The other players are getting 1 vs 1 and looking like they are pass rush studs. They should be thanking Parsons for being such a disruptive force.

This. He's getting a lot of attention from offenses. This is freeing up someone else and those someone else's are showing up!!! It's a great problem to have.

And that’s how players cash in as free agents. They put up numbers because of the situation they’re in and teams/fans expect that to be the case with their new team.

I'm not sure if they decided that they needed to pace him a little bit more after the groin injury against Rams. He did play a lot against the Eagles. Below are his percentage of defensive snaps played. I hate it when he is not in there but we don't need to wear him out. A guy like him that runs around full throttle all game long is likely to get tired. Injuries are more likely to happen when a guy is playing tired.

Game 1 100.0%
Game 2 84.3%
Game 3 83.3%
Game 4 85.1%
Game 5 70.8% (Groin Issue)
Game 6 94.4%
Game 7 71.2%
