I know Micah's sacks have been down of late and he hasn't had the same pop in his game while looking like he's fighting through some injuries. However, going back and rewatching this game, his third-down pressure on Minshew was a big-time defensive play. He didn't get a sack, but he forced Minshew to flee the pocket and just throw the ball away to avoid the sack. That's what you expect from your defensive stud with the game on the line.

He also played a key role in the fumble that led to our final points, shooting inside to make Sanders have to dodge him before Watkins got his hand on the ball.

Baldinger had a good breakdown of Parsons effectiveness throughout the game even though he had no sacks . He also showed how Micah was testing out and being effective with some new rush moves!

No one doubts Micah's talent or high ceiling. The lad will bounce back. I just hope Micah realizes his talent Is on the field and he's not a philosopher. So play well and shut up.

I liked what the commentator had to say about that time out: "you better listen to your top pass rusher".

Yes you do and despite the heartbreaking losses against Jacksonville and those pesky cheese heads MM is doing alot of things right this season.
Man I won’t lie I did not care for Mike or signing him but it’s criminal the disrespect he gets. People point to bid clock management issues but that seems to be every coaches problem not just limited to him. This is one of the best coaching seasons I’ve ever witnessed.

Well I don't know if I'd go that far, but he has oiled the machine well this season. Looks alot more comfortable on the sidelines too. When you think about people talking like this was nothing but a placeholder season for some ex Saints coach during the summer... lol.

But still, in the end play off performance counts. If they go one and out again, this was yet another wasted season. And no, a +500 record is NOT something to applaud in that case. But all we can do is look at it now and the way this season has been going, especially during those 5 Cooper Rush games, one can only say that Mike has done alot more right than wrong this year. AND that is with all the distracting bullcrap coming from the owner of this ball club all the friggin time.

The problem vs Philly is their interior OL was super stout inside. So while Micah did have a high pressure rate %, no-one on the inside was near Minshew to clean up and get the sack.
