I will say this from the start. I have been a long time Cowboys fan ( since '77) that has been saying, "I will not believe in this team until this franchise can JUST GET TO A DAMN NFC CONFERENCE Finals". **** This is the Dallas Cowboys! but for the past 30 years, this franchise has looked more like the Cleveland Browns/Detroit Lions or SD/LA Chargers. This century, the Cowboys have the 5th lowest playoff wins. Are you kidding me?!?!
Fifth lowest. And I am also say, I criticize Jerry Jones for his damn PRIDE. Jerry wants to win the Forbes SB and not the SB on the field. And he does it. The Dallas Cowboys are valued at 9.2 Billion and this franchise has done NOTHING for 30 years. Amazing. Jerry is sure a great business man but stubborn, prideful GM. Jerry said himself, he would have been fired if he was the GM of the NY Yankees for his poor, post season productivity.
Now, that is out of the way, to my topic. Ever since Micheal Irvin retired, this franchise just hasn't been the same. ( Refer to top portion). Players come to Dallas to be popular and win football games second. Demand to be excellent has been lost what Irvin demand in practice and on the field. Irvin worked his *** off in practice and demand this teammates to follow his example. (( Off the field Irvin was an idiot with all legal problems))
Now step in Micah Parson who is resembling what Irvin was in the 90s. Parsons demands he plays his best in practice. He will not back down and even his teammates don't like it. But Parsons says "tough" and bring it. Parsons wants to win and not just talk about it. So far Micah, is being "The Playmaker" this franchise has been missing for 30 years
