Does anyone have the number of snaps Parsons played on the line and at LB for the Minnesota game?
Seems he had much more time on the line compared to the Green Bay game.
I think Barr was out for both of these games. Is it Dante Fowler who's playing his LB spot?

Damone Clark went from 10% of the snaps against the Packers to over 70% against the Vikings. Maybe higher. He is who essentially replaced Micah at LB.

Using Micah almost exclusively at LB in Green Bay was just dumb.

As it should be since Micah showed 3 weeks in a row that he's not the overall LB they want him to be.

He is however the generational pass rusher that nobody thought he would be and that is how he should be used for the rest of his career.

Just sit back and let him be GOAT level great instead of wasting him 20 yards away from the play covering TE2's.

Parsons played 95% of snaps vs the Packers but primarily at off-ball LB.

Parsons played 67% vs the Vikings but almost all were at DE.

He has basically 3 positions.
DE
Off-Ball LB
On-Ball LB (edge)

In most games even when he plays LB, a majority of those snaps are as an edge player.

In the Packers game when he played LB it was rarely as an edge player. LVE played on the edge multiple times in that game.

They wanted Parsons in the middle because of his sideline to sideline speed to chase down Aaron Jones. It did work a few times on plays where he caught Jones at the sideline...Plays that LVE or Barr would not make.

In the Vikings game they gave Clark that role as speed LB and played Parsons at DE.

They limited his snaps on run downs because he is an undersized DE. DLaw and Armstrong are as good vs the run at DE as Parsons but not remotely close as pass rushers...

Clark needs to start. Obviously when he’s on the field we’re a better defense. He should have been a first rounder. Clearly Quinn likes him over cox at this time.

Ask and you shall receive. 1 snap at LB this past week; 37 snaps as a DL. Technically this is off by a drop IMO because there were two plays I recall where he blitzed as a LB. So even though he rushed the passer those should list him as a LB
