I think you're right, espn has his total sacks for the year at 6.5 and tackles for loss at 6 including the giants game. He has 5.5 sacks in his past 4 games going back to his return from Injury.

I do find this argument odd. So the cowboys overpaid Dak. Now fans want to give up the best defensive player the cowboys have had since prime Demarcus Ware because of it.

Dak-ancer and CeeDee have 4 void years on their new contracts, which means they can restructure and send that money to the void years, for example restructuring Dak-ancer in 2025 frees up $37M, restructuring CeeDee frees up $20M, which is $57M total, plus the $20M they have free right now against the salary cap, is $77M total, plus a possible $20M cap increase in 2025 gives the Cowboys approximately $97M in cap space in 2025, now Micah's contract can be manipulated and with void years the same as Dak-ancer and CeeDee's, and Mica's base salary can be the minimum and the rest can be converted into signing bonuses and other bonuses that prevent the impact of Parsons' new contract from being dispersed into the void years.

Sure they will kick it down the road and yes MP will get the bag and when you pay all these guys that means lesser talent around them and lots of dead money and good players not resigning due to “there’s a cap” “we spend the same as amount as everyone” then the cap guru’s who say cash spent will be crying about all the dead money.
