Patrick Crayton on NFLN

Very classy interview. I wouldn't mind keeping this guy around a while, but I think he might be too good to keep at a #3 receiver spot.

I felt good about him before Glenn went down. I was hopeing he would emerge. This is a good time for him to show what he can do consistantly. WR is too time consuming to develop. I don't want to be dwelling on the draft for a 3 year evolution. The guys we drafted three years ago, need to step up. Or we are going to be looking to free agency in the near future. Our number one and number two are ageing.

I hope we can keep him. I think T.O. is good for another year or two. Nice new site Stargazer.

He has hands... and everything else falls in place with him. And though he may be a 'clown', I know I'd rather have him on my team than a lot of other clowns out there.

He is too good to keep at #3. He may or may not ever be #1 but he has proven to me that he is a very good #2 receiver.

He'll be #2 next season for sure, this wil be TG last season..

Why are people so eager to write off TG and TO` Rice played a long time and both these guys keep in shape like Rice and certainly don`t look ready to slow down yet` Yeah they aren`t Rice and just because Rice did it that doesn`t mean they can` It also means why can`t they`
But we do need WRs ready to step in because it is very likely we will not have TG or TO for every game the next few years esp TG whose injury worries me some`

I`m also worried Crayton will want more money than we will want to give him` He is a number three on this team` The question is what would he be if two HOF caliper WRs weren`t in front of him`

Because Terry Glenn is as brittle as burnt toast. He has too many injuries that nag him. Plus he isn't Jerry Rice.

Due to Glenn's knee situation, I'm more than just a little concerned, so let's hope that Crayton continues to contribute for us.

Sure I did. That's why I replied even though you answered your own question.
