for beating big Dallas. I know most of you are willing to say we should just forgot this loss and move on. This loss will hang with this team the rest of the season. You don't get a but kicking like this and just move on. We were so proud when we beat the Colts. Don't look now, but everyone is beating that team.

We will win one more game this season Detroit.

Not many teams have a QB like brees and a RB that can take your average dump off to the house.

Dallas will adjust and if they don't the coaches should go. plain and simple. Put up or shut up right now and if the coaches can't find a way to get the holes fixed, they should be fired on spot. ALL of them

Sorry you can believe that if you want but I'm not buying. We played poorly and got our butt kicked nothing more than that. To turn this into the season is over thread is just stupid.

Again, I think people are going overboard with giving Payton too much credit.

Why did we even play the game if we are just going to fall back on the notion that "Oh damn, Payton knows our system and our players we dont have a chance".

Yes, Payton's knowlege of our staff and players gave them an advantage, but Big Bill had resources like film, being Payton's boss the last 3 years etc etc, so he had some advantages too.

Everybody knows what everybody else is trying to do in this league. It is not like Reggie Bush and Drew Brees were these Top Secret weapons and Parcells and Co. didnt know about them until after the fact.

Let's stop with excuses.

We got outcoached and outplayed. I know it is easy to focus on the easy excuse, which is Payton knew us better than we knew ourselves etc etc, but the real fact is that the Cowboys got outcoached left and right and it was obvious.

Jacksonville killed us all game long in week 1 with passes to RBs underneath. Other teams have done it as well, noticeably the Giants. This is hardly super secret stuff Payton stumbled upon, he just has the weapons to truly exploit it that not every team has.

The best thing they did all night was keep Romo in the pocket and bring pressure up the middle on him. They were the first team to really stop him from finding any kind of rhythm since he took over. But again, NO has a quick Dline that was built to contain Vick.

Yeah, that is pretty stupid, considering we are still atop our division.

Heck, for all we know the Saints may be the Panthers of 2003.

Right!

Give Brees and the Saints offense credit. Payton chose to attack Dallas with an aggressive gameplan (offensively) and it worked. NO's success on offense took JJ and Barber out of Dallas' offense and forced Romo to try and beat them. It kind of reminded me of the way Jimmy and Norv attacked the Niners in the first championship game back in the 90s.

Hopefully, Parcells and his staff will not take this team lightly if they happen to meet again in the playoffs. The best way to beat an aggressive offense is with an equally aggressive defense.

I agree. Saints went out and executed their game plan to perfection and beat us. Payton is a good coach but what lead to the win is his players went out and executed.

We played like crap, on top of the saints coaches knowing out team, it made for an embarrassing loss on a national stage. The next game is the one that matters most both for our team and tony. I wish it was against someone other than the falcons, that aren't a good team right now.

What's agressive about dumping the ball to a wide open FB or Bush all game?

Again, agressive defense had nothing to do with.

When you are facing the #1 offense in the league who also happens to have a terrible run defense, you pound the darn football until JJ and Barber's legs fall off.

That was the biggest mistake we made last night, going away from the run.

What's killing me is Payton has been running those flair passes all year long, yet we had nothing for them. unreal.

Bingo!

Someone who sees the bigger picture.

Only the Chargers have the back that can exploit the Cowboys like the Saints did.

I'm not panicked. Of course, I don't play. :)

Last night was about a lot more then Bush he was the least of the issues. Luckily most teams dont have as many weapons or as good of a QB as NO.

Actually we are going to win out, win the toughest division in the NFC, and play the Giants or Philly in the Wildcard game at Dallas.

1 game doesn't mean anything and if you think we got exposed well then fine but I just dont think our team showed up to play.

New Orleans is a good team but the have holes everywhere on that team.

They just played out of their minds last night and could do nothing wrong.

Plus we have Romo. I know hes going to bounce back and play good.

But believe what you want.

To bad its just 1 game.

Blueprint for beating the snot out of the Cowboys:

Get your fullback involved.

Apparently we don't pay much mind to the fullback position.
