We'll be going against him, and the other guys on their OL tonight. To be 23 years old and to be this good reminds us of a young Tyron Smith, possibly Tyler Smith. How do we get around him and the other guys on their OL, their line isn't too bad. We've struggled over the weeks to get sacks, will we be able to force Goff to make poor throws tonight? Please give your thoughts

We’re known for pass rush specialists in here

Should get some brilliant feedback. Great thread. Again.

I was shocked the Begals went with Chase ahead of him, but I guess it worked out for both clubs.

For me it would be DQ dialing up something different regarding stunts and blitzes as its been pretty obvious over the past several weeks that DC opponents have our defense figured out.

The Bills completed 7 passes, so not much chance for sacks in that game. Tua threw pretty quickly. Play tight D on the edges, get a lead, stop the run, and we’ll be fine.

I hate seeing us do that as we're one of the only team that our players run into each other and ALMOST get close to sacking the QB

The key is getting a nice lead early. Force Detroit into passing more. Tee off on Goff. That’s the defense that works here. This defense is not built to slug it out. It may also take DQ growing a brain and moving 11 around. Blitz him up the gut. Have 90 line up against Sewell and challenge him to have a good game. Fowler and Williams need to get a lot of snaps.

You will not say that in reference to him moving #11 around, because that would take too much thought!!!! I've been saying this all season, stop having him rush from the same area. Now recently at times they've been moving him around, but still at that rush end spot, it's not doing him any good, he's not getting any pressure! Be creative, make it seem like he's dropping in coverage then rush or vice versa, something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen some of their games this year and feel he has regressed some this year. Still sid most of the time, but bad technique and mental errors seem to occur more recently.

He’s short armed. Strong but he doesn’t have the leverage to play against Ts all the time. He doesn’t have the dip and rip like Miller. He’s best when he can get a semi clean run because his closing speed is otherworldly. Plus he is a downhill player. Needs to have success early or he can get sulky. Quinn has really hurt his development this year.

Do we even do twist and stunts or delayed blitzes regularly? Detroit has a solid line and protect their qb pretty good. DQ has gotta have some changes tonight to fool them.
