Not much of a college guy, but I was looking for alternatives to Dallas taking Jeanty in the 1st. Nic Singleton looks like a good 3rd/4th round option !
Bigger back, plenty of speed, would be a good tandem if we resign Rico. Not used overly much in college so would not be worn down already.
What's the consensus on this guy ?

I just thought of something when I read your post, can the Cowboys afford to keep Rico.

I think they will resign Rico and I don't think that will require too much. I don't think RB's are going to be a hot commodity in FA (biggest names are Chubb and Najee) with how deep the draft is at the position.
Not resigning Rico would leave the position in dire straits. Sure, they can draft a couple of RB's and that seems like a good idea, but with all the other needs that should be addressed, maybe it's better to just draft one and sign a FA and that would probably be Rico.

I agree. The Browns have been throwing darts at QB's for eons and they just can't seem to hit a bullseye. Milroe would most likely be the QB they would have to take in the first round and having to overdraft him to do that. Personally, I don't think Milroe is a top ten talent. Drafting Jeanty gives them something to lean on while the QB situation gets sorted out. It's a big mess.

No one is giving Rico legit $. He’ll probably get a contract somewhere in between what Gus Edwards and Devin Singletary got this past off season…which would be in the neighborhood of 2 years 8 million. Can’t forget Rico isn’t exactly a young RB either, he’ll be 27 going into camp next season.

I don’t know these last 3 games will tell us his market value. Running for 1,000 yards with this offense and Cooper Rush as your quarterback is impressive.

If we miss out on Jeanty then my next target is Omarion Hampton in the 2nd round. He probably doesnt make it to us there either.

I think Dallas will re-sign Rico and it won't take much. He isn't a guy that teams will be offering big $ to. He stays a Cowboy because they will tell him he has the starting job right now going into next season. Then they will draft a new RB and he will take the full time starting job by week 3.

Singleton would be an excellent pick in rd 3. He's very good and not too much wear and tear since he has been in a time share offense with RB Kaytron Allen, who wouldn't be a bad choice either. He's very good as a power back and inside runner. But Nic is too and far more explosive. I see Allen as more of a 5th or 6th rd guy. Draft both and the RB room would be overhauled!

1st round athlete mid round player. He’s going to blow up the combine just doesn’t seem to have the vision for a higher end pick.

Good mid round target.

It’s going to be like last year when every RB gets plucked right before our picks lol

Rico will get over 4 million a season.

Gonna try and catch the Penn St. Game on Saturday to see how he looks...
Everything I've read about him sounds promising, but need to see him on the field.
