The Dallas Mavericks are the deepest team in the NBA. And Dallas is the best team in Texas. Charles also said that out of the west, the Mavs, Spurs, and the Lakers are the top 3.

I don't think so, Dallas is one of the deepest teams in the league right now. They are also playing as well as anybody. We know they can beat San Antonio, although we also know that the Spurs can beat them in a 7 game series. So you can't say that he's wrong, and imo Charles is one of the better analysts out there.

Until Dallas proves they don't have the ability to choke in the the playoffs then I will be skeptical. And no I don't know they can beat San Antonio. San Antonio beat them in the playoffs last year. Charles Barkley is not even close to one of the best analysts out there. He is entertaining at time but says a lot of stupid inconsistent things a lot of times. He will jump on a teams bandwagon when they are playing well and then jump off of it just as quickly when they aren't. And he usually wrong more times than not on his predictions.

Charles always talks bad about the Mavs. He finally had something good to say so the Mavs must have did something.

Adding Chandler was great. He's something the Mavs have never had (an athletic center) Now they added a tall spot shooter in Peja to replace Caron; the little Rican playing well; and Roddy coming back.
