Cowboys brought him in. Senior Bowl MVP that could add some interior pass rush. He ran a 4.89 40 at 290 pounds and also played NT for Oklahoma last season. Hill is in the last year of his contract.

Overview
Winfrey looks the part and will impress with his body type at the NFL Scouting Combine. However, he's frequently late off the ball. A tight lower half and disappointing lateral agility make him a liability against move-blocking schemes. He does, however, have an explosive get-off and heavy hands. His flashes at the Senior Bowl improved his draft stock and made teams take notice. He has some hit-or-miss elements to his game but has good rotational value with a chance to become an eventual starter.
Strengths
  • Explosive hips shoot him into the neutral zone.
  • Power to pop and knock back a move blocker.
  • Roughly 41 percent of his tackles went for losses.
  • Keeps working through the whistle.
  • Consistently urgent pass rusher.
  • Violent hand swipes clear the punch.
  • Upfield power off the snap can key a bull rush.

He should be one of the first picks gone today.

No Brainer for any team at this point

Good value on Day 3. Could be an instant rotation guy inside on passing downs; penetration is his specialty.

I didn't want him on day 2 because he is more of what we have. But the 4th he is definitely value, and more of what we have isnt necessarily bad. I just didnt want to keep going to that well with day 2 picks

Marinelli would have stood on the table to draft Winfrey in the 1st round.
- He is a terrific pass rushing DT.
- The issue is that he got worked over in the run game by average college interior OLinemen.

The question mark is whether he can learn to play with knee bend.
- Some players just physically can't do it.
- Without proper knee bend, he does not have the bulk to hold up vs the run.

We saw last season with Odighi how playing with great leverage can allow an under-weight DT to hold up vs double teams.

Winfrey is definitely worth a 4th round pick.

Me want.

Should've taken him w/ our 3rd. Most likely will be out of reach now.
We have taken enough of him with our day 2 picks. He is a good player, but he isnt any better of a prospect than Odighizuwa or Gallimore were

If they like him one of the fifths could move them up.
^this^. He wont fall to 129. That said, we will draft wr again here or TE I think. Eventually we will use a 5th to grab a linebacker.

If they move up in the 4th, I would expect it to be for TE Cade Otton.

IMO, he has a chance to be the best TE in his draft.

He is the most Witten-ish TE in his draft.

Otton is not a guy that's going to 'win the combine' but he knows how to play football.
- He can block, he can get open and he can catch.

If we wanna pure pass catching TE at 129 its Cole Turner. If we wanna well rounded technician, its Otton.

Good player but just more of the same of what we already have.

I’d rather try to get a NT that can anchor. Someone like Ridgeway or the dude from LSU is my fav.
