Mine are Bobby Brown from A&M in the mid rounds. He is a big strong quick 1T with a very nice upside.

And TJ Vasher from Texas Tech late in the draft. He would be my 3rd down and goal line slot/TE/WR etc. This guy can jump out of the gym.

Who are yours and why?

People that know me outside of this board know I've been high on Caleb Farley since 2018. I felt like I was on an island about him, so much so that I reached out to Dane Brugler, Matt Miller, and a few other people I know to see why no one else was talking about this kid.

I never imagined we'd be in a position to possibly grab him this year.

Other pet cats include Kyle Pitts, Alim McNeil, Tommy Togiai, Khyiris Tonga, Jaelan Phillips, JOK, Zane Collins, Baron Browning, Jaycee Horn, Talanoa Hufanga, and Trevon Moehrig.

Like with Farley, Pitts, Tonga, Phillips, and Hufanga have been pet cats several years now.

I discovered (realized) my crushes on McNeil, Togiai, JOK, Collins, Horn, and Moehrig watching film last summer to during this past season.

No one asked but I can provide you all with 2022 and 2023 pet cats too.

Always appreciate your insight. You, Risen and a few others are always insightful during the draft

I realize that these are YOUR pet cats but MY thoughts:
Richie Grant - Perfect for cover 3
I want to see what the hype is but I don't.
Alim McNeil - Big bodied fat guy
Yes!
Tamorrion Terry - Big frame and catch radius
Seems like one of those guys who will just take off in NFL. Probably ends up in Kansas City or Green Bay and people will wonder how did they draft him in the 5th round (like Stefon Diggs).
Paris Ford - Playmaker
Scares the heck out of me, do not like.
Baron Browning - Watched him since high school
Double Yes!

Im a little biased to Grant. I have season tickets at UCF and know several players and coaches lol
I really, really liked the two Corners from 2019 film, I think they both opted out?

Gabe Davis was one of my 2020 pet cats as well. He's making me look smart.

I really did not like the back-up DT from 2018 film. He was trash.

I have contacts from the previous and current staffs and both said this kid has a dog crap work ethic and is ummm, intellectually challenged. Of course we would draft him.

Also, you're about to lose your Head Coach.

Najee Harris. Reminds me of 2017-19 Zeke as a well-rounded power back who can do it all. He seems like a Bill Belichick type of player.
If we needed a RB I would be all over Harris. Complete back. No idea why he didn't go pro last year. I get that he won a NC, but he was pro ready.

Brevin Jordan TE Miami

At 6’-3” 245 lbs I think he could make the transition to FB/H-Back for us. He’s a very good inline blocker. Granted, I haven’t seen him utilized as a lead blocker.

Reminds me a lot of Delanie Walker.

Wow he can move!

I know pet cats are typically mid to later round guys but I have a few early players that I’d like to see in Dallas.

DT:
Nixon - I think he’ll rise as we get closer to the draft. My Favorite pet cat probably.
McNeil - the 1tech/NT I want to see in Dallas
Shelvin - he’s really good in run game. I do wonder about his lateral movement though.

Edge:
Patrick Jones - If he slides down the boards a little bit, I’d bring him in. Better than people think.

LB:
Bolton - Plays LB just the way I want it played.
McGrone - Movement skills that the Dallas LB’s lack.
Tony Fields II - Lateral quickness

S:
Moehrig - Best FS in draft probably won’t last until Dallas’ 2nd round pick.
Wiggins - Smart and tough. Could play SS and nickel LB
Hufanga - Love the way this guy plays. I’d really like to see him in Dallas.
Washington - No way Dallas drafts this kid though.

Corner:
Surtain - plays a cerebral game and has loads of experience against the best.
Farley - Everyone likes these two.
Adebo - I think he’s going to be better than a lot of people think. Good size and athletic.
Newsome II - Ditto
Campbell - Hasn’t put it all together but has the tools.
Ambry Thomas - In later rounds if he’s there

A few on offense.

TE:
Kyle Pitts - Sweet baby Jesus he’s good

OT:
Slater - OK with him in the first. OG until Smith (or Collins) goes.
Darrisaw - really like how he plays.
Eichenberg - In second round

IOL:
Vera-Tucker - This player would be so good in Dallas’ zone blocking. He will go too early but I love how he plays.

Zavien Collins. I love guys that can take over a game on defense. He and Parsons remind me a lot of Roy Williams ability while at OU. They can literally wreck games all over the field.

My true pet cat is Shelvin DT from LSU. The kid is a stud 1T that would really help our run defense. I want to grab him with our 3rd comp, or possibly our 4th rd pick.
Honorable mention pet cat is DT 1T Bobby Brown from Tex A&M. If we miss on Shelvin he needs to be taken. We need a true 1T badly.
K Deng is a LB from Cal that I think could be a good mid-late rd pick.

Others that are not really pet cats per say but players I really like:

Moehrig is the best FS in this class, I really hope we get a chance to draft him.
I really like Zaven Collins and Nick Bolton at LB. 2 different styles of play but both are very effective at what they do.

We definitely MUST take a 1T somewhere. We’ve neglected it too long.
