I thought he did ok last night, certainly better than last week. Was anyone paying close attention to him last night? Thoughts?

I agree I think he had a decent game and I expect he will improve as we move along. I also like the fact we did not see many penalties from the O-line this week. Dallas had a total of 4 for the game

It seemed he did good to me except for a few times when the Seattle D stunted.

I can not say he was great or poor but it seemed OK....which for a guy being thrust into the position seems to be good for us.

I thought he was alright. Tyson Walter imo was awful, so that side of the line was not getting any push. But Petiti did about as good as you could have realistically hoped for. I think we will see a lot more of him this preseason.

Looked solid but unspectacular. I am fine with him starting the year. IMO... Rob is playing through some pain.

Yep. He didn't slide over when Seattle stunted, allowed a sack. We also didn't run to the right very well, that NEEDS to be fixed before the season starts. Other than that, he played well.

I watched him on a few plays, and he was holding his own. With Rivera out, he didn't have a lot of help. Looks like he improved a ton in one week.

I think the return of Rivera will be a big help

I agree. Pettite will be fine sandwiched between Rivera and Campbell. Really a good situation for him considering he is being thrown into the fire as a rookie.

We need Rivera in there- or the right side will remain weak. We must be able to make the D respect the possibility of right side runs. Last year they did not have to.

I thought he did real well. When Sea blitzed from his side he did just what he was supposed to and block from inside out he picked up the inside blitzer but the outside guy made the sack. No fault of his IMO... I think he's the real deal and will continue to improve..

That and a little bit better foot work.
The stunting reads and passing off the blocks to the guard and he will be fine this year.

I thought Pettit did much better than last week. Actually if he contines to progress like that each week, we could be ok there. I am still worried about the position though and think we should bring in a vet.
Even if Petitti looks good, what happens if he goes down.
The last thing I really want to see is Vollers or Tucker.

The couple of things I noticed is I saw much more power from Petitti, which tells me he is feeling a little more comfortable.

Also his footwork looked much better, and he got into position to block his man a whole lot better than the Arizona game.

Geez, he has a huge frame. A couple of times he looked like an eclipse over his man. I think he has a lot of potential, just hope it all comes around fast enough.

I felt pretty good about him last night overall.

One running play he just demolished his man, pushing him back a few yards and then crumbling him to the ground. That was sweet.
