Thank you for your subscription and hard work, @Plankton !

Our young Olinemen are looking very good. I still say to move Brock Hoffman to Center and Cooper Beebe to Left Guard (natural college positions for both). Our Oline starting next year should be:

LT: Tyler Smith
LG: Cooper Beebe
C: Brock Hoffman
RG: TJ Bass
RT: Terence Steele / Tyler Guyton

Natural college positions for all our young Olinemen.

This was obviously Beebes best game of his career before the injury. Its rare to see a Center actually show up like he did on the live broadcast. I'd have to go back and watch the tape but I almost think Hoffman looked better at C than he does at G. If they bring Hoffman back I wouldnt be surprised at all if those two shifted positions.

Nice to see Liufau with a nice score, Ill have to watch him close on film. Hes flashed some upside this year but has mostly been a JAG. I hope he sees a significant bump in snaps with Overshown out, although they may look to put Clark back in as he is a more natural fit to replicate what Overshown was asked to do, who knows.

Our front office/coaches are adamant about keeping T. Smith at LG and T. Guyton at LT. Guyton has struggled there all season. At this point, our season is a wash. What's it going to hurt to try your players' line-up on the o-line? We have the stubbornest coaches in all the NFL it seems.

What is the motivation to experiment? All these coaches are on expiring deals so I'm sure the priority is to squeeze out as many wins as possible to look respectable. I can absolutely see why they wouldnt want to roll the dice on a major OL shift, especially when the OL as a whole is trending up.

It's called making adjustments. And if those adjustments improve o-line play, then why not try it? I mean, it couldn't hurt. But, what the heck do I know. LOL

With how well the OL is playing right now I think it absolutely could hurt. Outside of LT I'm not sure that you have a huge issue along the OL right now which is why I wouldnt be in any rush to shuffle anything. I'd love to see Beebe kick out to G, but it feels more like an offseason move IMO. Best case it probably takes a brand new OL a couple weeks to feel comfortable and then the seasons over anyways.

Beebe is more valuable at center with his power and movement skills. So no, stop with bad ideas.

His pass blocking was bad but sure lets move Tyler Smith out from being the lead on the interior runs to protecting the QBs blind side. That feels like a good way to make sure multiple starters do not finish the year.

You should look to upgrade Bass if possible and let him be the swing interior guy.

You could also go get a true LT, let Smith at LG, Beebe plays RG and Guyton is the new RT. Steele is mediocre.

Tyler Smith's pass blocking was bad because at LG he is having to concentrate on both a DT and DE coming at him, not including any gap blitzing LBs.

Move Tyler Smith to LT where he can solely concentrate on 1 man (DE or Edge LB), he would do much better like he did it college.

I HOPE that the Edoga experiment is OVER
