I remember one the BTB guys tweeted some trumped up stats about how awesome Bland has been all the while he has given up a QBR over 115

Someone just posted a similar stat but it wasn’t anywhere near a 115 QBR.

I thought Bland was solid Sunday.McClaurin was making some tough catches.

PFF has him at 115. Pro Football Reference has him at 105. Not as bad, but still pretty bad

I watched sparingly and saw several plays where Maclaurin had him beat and either dropped the ball or it was a bad pass. Could've easily had 3 or more catches from the limited plays I saw.

But take it for what its worth. I didn't watch a whole lot since it wasnt on here locally and got sick of streaming it.

Mazi is still Mazi. Kneeland disapointing. I am sure they will trot Guyton out there at LT next year but does Richards have the possibility of being a long term answer.

Yeah the drops and mental mistakes Washington had once they already had the play won is crazy. I'm not sure how many of those were on Bland, but the secondary certainly didnt play as well as the box score would indicate. Those plays where a secondary guy gets beat and the WR drops the ball still hurts the DB in PFFs scoring. They dont grade the outcome of the play at all, just the individual rep of the player.

Was hoping for a better showing yesterday, but its a tough task to come back from being a backup guy coming back from injury like that. I really like Richards, but I dont think we have nearly enough tape on him to say for sure. The timing of his injury simply couldnt have been worse with how many snaps Edoga got the last few weeks. Total shame.

Wonder how much Jerry paid for that Mingo grade.
I'm not buying into this WR group yet, but I will say they seemed to be finding holes in the Washington secondary all day. Part of that is Washington simply doesn't have a great secondary. Another part is probably the Trey Lance effect in they had to account for his running abilities in addition to just the unknown of how the Dallas scheme would change with the QB switch. Mingo, Tolbert, and Turpin all seemed to adjust well to Lance at QB.....if only they could get him throwing on target.

Mingo just might be the Noah Brown, great job run blocking.

Re-sign Chauncey Golston as soon as the league allows.

Also, let's go ahead and re-up Lewis n Kendricks (insurance).

You have to look at Mingo as a 4th round pick. He is 23 years old, looks like Dez, blocks like Noah Brown and catches balls when he is covered. Unless you are expecting him to be Puka Nucua he has a chance to be a solid rotation piece. 4th round picks usually have minimal impact.

Jerry needs to stop screwing around and get this coaching search started. We need a new offensive system.

For a guy just brought in Troy Pride impressed me at DB against DC and along with Butler ( hopefully recovered ) and Amani O that’s a trio of depth . Bring Lewis back Jerry

Mingo's run blocking grade raises my curiosity. The Cowboys need WRs that can block in the running game. Now I want to see more.

Golston keeps racking up steady grades week to week. If he playing himself out of Dallas by boosting his asking price?

I am losing hope with Mazi. If he was a 6th round pick he would still suck. But as a first rounder? Man, that's bad. Don't know what it is. He has the physical tools but it is just not clicking for him.

The Cowboys have to acquire so quality DTs in the draft and free agency.

After pre season hype I hope Caelon Carson comes back strong next season and isn’t another hyped Eric Scott type . Andrew Booth was a failed experiment that cost Dallas Nashon Wright , another DB who couldn’t crack the code
