I will say that despite the horrible defense Clark and Golston showed something. I still dont trust Clark to have a huge role, but his sideline to sideline speed is incredible. Golston is quietly having the best year of his career.

I've been paying more attention to Tyler Smith ever since he moved to LT. The dude is bad ***! He's the only Pro-Bowl player on our team. :(

Golston is a classic SDE/5T. Belichick can use him.

I posted about Zach Martin on another thread how he looked really bad. He was on skates when pass protecting most of the game

I would have graded Diggs much lower.
I agree. To even have a tackling grade would suggest that one tried to make tackles, lol- and Diggs just aint interested in tackling anybody it seems. He should get a 0, as in how much effort he puts towards tackling, its a joke

He knows he can get away with it. If I'm Jerry Jones we're having a serious talk because I didn't pay you all this money for you to give me zero effort. At some point these players need to be held accountable after they sign these contracts.

these numbers simply do not pass the Mark 1 eyeball test

They say Liafu was a worse tackler than Diggs

some others stink as well

Apparently playing patty cake with someone until another player comes to tackle the player is better by PFF standards than actually trying to tackle and not bringing someone down by yourself

Glad to see Richards get snaps and look ok. Probably against backups though.

I have heard things said over the years about PFF and why so often their results make no sense

one is supposedly when a mistake or play is made does not matter

another that they do not weigh penalties as regards how severe they are and when they happen

I am a little surprised by Juanyeh Thomas's grade. And, Malik Hooker's tackling grade. I have been thinking it's time to sit Hooker and get Thomas out there to see if he is any better because Hooker has not been great. I must be missing something.

Guyton and Beebe are both rookies. Steele is not that great and Zack Martin will retire after this year. You can't expect a great line under these circumstances. Letting Tyron Smith move on because of salary is just another example of being impacted by Dak's salary.

Liafau was so bad. He cannot figure out who has the ball half the time.
