When did that happen?

I don't pay for PFF, and haven't been watching their season scores that closely, but last I remember they had Biadasz in the 50s for the season. He must have had some stellar games since to have moved up so high.

Center to RT is completely solid now, and both Peters and Tyler are guys we should expect to improve as the season goes on.

Very good time for Zeke step it up a notch. Strong defense, strong oline, plus *2* strong running backs is a team that starts to look like a contender.

But, DT. Maybe Hankins can bring some respectability there.

Im not sure how much to trust those PFF numbers. I have seen some inconsistencies in them over the years. Kind of like WAR for baseball. I guess its a starting point, but but not the bottom line. For an O line its about the 5 of them as a unit. How they work together.

WAR is based on stats that are normalized to points and ultimately wins. PFF is based on personal opinion. It's great that a random number of people's aggregate opinion is high on him but calling it statistical analysis is a stretch IMO.

Guess who is highest graded C through 7 games.........Connor Williams. Yep, the same Connor Willaims we moved to G ( although he never played in high school or college). It seems we were right about his positional change, just the wrong position. He's on the verge of being an ALL-Pro center.

Remember all those saying Tyler Smith would be a bust....:muttley:

While PFF is not perfect by any means, the one thing you can say about PFF is that they use the same evaluation methods for every player and position.

Happy for Connor. Local kid that went to HS here (mascot is Cowboys), then the eponymous state school, and then his hometown NFL team. Kid/young man living the Walter Mitty fantasy life. Too bad it’s now in Miami.

He had a rough year with all the penalties. I kept reading where his rating was not terrible last year- just was the most penalized. Guess it was just an off year for him, glad he's doing well.

not many I saw thought he would be a bust; a lot of people were worried too much was being expected of him too soon; and of course the penalty worry which THANKFULLY seems to have been a false worry. Despite the criticism the OL staff gets here (sometimes deserved) they seem to have done an excellent job of getting Tyler Smith ready to play at a high level very quickly.

As regards PFF I think anyone putting any real credence on their spew is a football Moron. TB seems to be doing better; which is vital. Once again a favorable indication of our OL staff.

The offensive line overall seems to get better each game. It’s all about chemistry and the linemen seem to have it. It’s funny how last year the line was old and injury prone. Now we have a young top 10 line again.
It seems strange to say this, but I have concerns about Tyron coming back and upsetting the chemistry. In no way do I equate Tyron and Collins, but the OL took a marked step backwards last year when Collins came back from suspension.

I agree, Steele was playing well in his spot- then Collins came back and there was certainly regression.

I agree with you. Tyron could be a negative. I guess if you bring back for the Colts and Houston back to back. You could work him in.

I have nothing against Connor Williams but I have watched a few Dolphins games and honestly, I don't get how Williams grades so high. There are better Centers than him, starting with Kelce from Philly.

But Biadasz is much improve over last year. He is making fewer mental errors and he seems stronger. The Cowboys OL in general is much better than they were last year, especially run blocking.

Best thing about Tyler is we never hear his named called. That’s a good thing for Olineman!
