PFF Cornerback Rankings: Top 32 ahead of the 2025 NFL season

There are some good players on this list, no doubt, but ranking Bland 32nd is way too low IMO. This is a crossroads year for him....he's elite or not.

32. DaRon Bland, Dallas Cowboys

Bland missed the first 10 games of the 2024 season due to injury after a 2023 campaign in which he broke the NFL record for pick-sixes. His PFF advanced coverage grade wasn’t great, even though his standard PFF coverage grade over the past two seasons ranks sixth.

His 71.4 PFF coverage grade in 2024 was solid, but he failed to log an interception after his record-breaking season. 2025 should be a good indicator of whether Bland can continue his playmaking ways.

If it said he was #1, you wouldn't be complaining, better yet you'd be opening up a yearly subscription plan to view in your leisure moments!
And once again, you are wrong. I would say the same thing.
I would say how can he be #1 when he missed a lot of games last year.
You are the one that talks about complaining all the time.

So his pff score is a 70…..

Jaycee Horn has a 65 and is #25
Joey Porter has a 55 and is #26
Aj Terrell has a 68 is #24
Darius Slay has a 67 is #21
Chauvarius Ward 56 is 15
Denzel Ward is a 68 and 10
Dj Reed is a 68 and 6

Pff might be trolling with this one.

Yeah but it’s weird they have everyone in front of him who has a lower pff score then him lol…they aren’t even ranking based on their own scores….
Yeah but ranking and grading are two different things in my mind, especially when it comes to PFF and DBs. Early career Diggs is a perfect example....the guy had have 10+ interceptions in a season, but also gives up a lot of yardage. It makes for a lower grade than what your eyes tell you, but you certainly wont be taking him off the field and losing the big play ability.

If it’s not based on their scores then how on earth is Bland 32 l?
