Lots of fines in that game according to the article. Is that normal? Never looked into that. Let them play. Football is a rough game.

This was the play, with Hendershot's "shove."




Smith was not fined for his late hit out of bounds.

I can understand a little fining the guy who shoved the player though to me that is the epitome of ticky tack

BUT fining the team? BS

The nfl sent a memo telling teams that they will be penalized when coaches, or inactive players on the sideline not in uniform put there hands on opposing players along with the offending party.

I can understand a little fining the guy who shoved the player though to me that is the epitome of ticky tack

But what if the coach pats the opposing player on the back for making a good play? I would assume this would be okay, no?

Correction:
The shove actually comes a couple seconds after what's in that video. Hendershot pushed him in the back as he was going back to the field.
