Depends on swelling. He should have his stitches out. But incision has to heal. Needs to be able to grip the ball. If Rush does good Monday night then we shouldnt sweat it.

Hey, if he can grip the football and throw it as well as he is capable of throwing... why not.

Cooper Rush can only take this offense so far, the Cowboys will need to score more than 20 points per game to win enough games to get them to the playoffs. The defense is good, but not that good.

Well, in 6 of his last 22 games (27%) Dak has led the Dallas offense to 20 or less points....and Dak has led Dallas to a total of 4 playoff games (1-3 record) in 6 seasons....so I guess Dak can only take this offense so far???

If Rush can have a little more success then we can afford to rest Prescott longer to fully heal.

In other Cowboys news... owner Jerry Jones is in talks with retired QB Joe Namath about a comeback. The 79 yr old Namath hasn't played in 45 yrs but Jones is confident the former Jet QB can hit the field as soon as week 4.
