Lambeau Field expansion could create "wall of sound"

I put this here, because we play the packers, but i dont think they will have enough time to get the extension field fixed for this year;

Packers CEO Mark Murphy may want to "enhance" Lambeau Field just like he wants to "enhance" the NFL regular season -- by making it larger.

Adding as many as 8,000 seats to the 72,928-seat stadium is one of the many ideas being tossed around by the organization, according to the Business Journal of Milwaukee. If this change came to pass, the team could enclose the south end of the stadium, creating a "wall of sound." (The team has no solution for the "clapping gloves make no sound" dilemma.)

"We are looking at a number of options," said Murphy.

We mentioned in May the team was looking for fan input about possibly growing the stadium; these new details give us an idea what the Packers have in mind.

Packer execs and fans are idiots. They go for one reason, to drink, there also happens to be a game being played while they drink.

i definitely agree. went to a cowboys vs pakers game at lambeau and had good seats, about 13 rows up on the 40, packers sideline, and the people in our row spent more time going in and out or being outside than watching the game. for me, i find it unfathomable to go to any game and miss any action.
