Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports reports that an unnamed (for now) Pro Bowl running back is on the trading block.

Robinson (via Twitter) says that knows the name of the tailback and the teams involved. He says he'll reveal the player soon, that it won't be shocking, and that it's not Cowboys tailback Marion Barber.

In 2009, the Pro Bowl running backs were Chris Johnson, Maurice Jones-Drew, Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, DeAngelo Williams, and Frank Gore.

In 2008, they were Thomas Jones, Johnson, Ronnie Brown, Marshawn Lynch, Peterson, Clinton Portis, and Michael Turner.

In 2007, they were LaDainian Tomlinson, Joseph Addai, Fred Taylor, Willie Parker,Willis McGahee, Peterson, Barber, and Brian Westbrook.

We're guessing that it's Lynch, and possibly McGahee.

Look for rumors to be that it is Ronnie Brown and the Chargers may be interested.

If that happens than business will pick up quick regarding MB3 trade rumors.

Especially now that we're looking at RBs so much lately.

Ronnie Brown Hints He May Leave Miami
14th February, 2010 - 10:00 am

South Florida Sun-Sentinel - Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown is rehabbing from a foot injury and hinted that he may not have a future in Miami.

He says he's "ahead of schedule" in his recovery and that training camp is a realistic goal.

"If it was up to me, ultimately I want to be here," Brown said of Miami. "I think I've established a foundation here and I'd love to be here for the rest of my career. Unfortunately, sometimes there are decisions that have to be made."

He would become a free agent if the NFL achieves a new labor agreement before March 5.

Brown has only played in 16 games once in his career and is coming off an injury. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's on Parcells' chopping block.

It's Ronnie Brown. He's an RFA, and Parcells isn't going to pay an often injured, 28 year old RB the money that Brown is going to expect. Getting a DUI a couple of weeks ago didn't help his cause.

there are so many things that point to Barber getting traded, this is insane...I am starting to think we are just waiting on formalities..
