Suspicions emerge as to the Niners' "rat"
Posted by Mike Florio on September 17, 2010 12:44 PM ET
49ers coach Mike Singletary knows he has a rat in the house. But he's not saying, "We will not try to find the rat. We will find the rat. Next question." Instead, Singletary is merely saying, "We will not try to find the rat."

(Of course, if Singletary wanted to find the rat, he could bring in Terrell Owens, who could check the locker room for anyone who "looks like a rat and smells like a rat.")

Singletary actually used the term "the rat"?

He may be the dumbest coach ever.

*looks at Mike Ditka*

Maybe.

Whats the backstory?

49er's offensive coaches are inept at getting the play in on time. Had several issues with it 1st game. Coaches are trying to cover it up by saying it was the headsets not working. Players complaining off the record.

As hard as it is to win with a primadonna ballerina like T.O. in your locker room it is even harder with a rat in there.

Guys need to keep their mouth shut and avoid the media except in over the air conversations or press conferences.
