Is war brewing in minnesotta?

"Brett thinks Childress has no clue about offense," an unnamed Vikings player told Cole.

Said another: "Brett just doesn't trust him."

So why did Favre return? Is he a glutton for punishment? Or does he simply realize that he can ignore Childress and do whatever he wants?

As we said yesterday, "We've heard persistent rumors that the players in Minnesota generally don't like or respect Childress. Though no good head coach openly aspires to be liked by his players, a lack of respect could kill a team's chances -- especially if it starts with the quarterback whose ring, feet, and *** everyone kisses."

Childress has about 1.6% to do with what Minnesota does on offense. Many claimed that he often just called whatever play he wanted to in the huddle and ignored the playcall

No no, Favre is perfect, he just loves playing and isn't mean, a druggie, attention ***** or a sex addict. The media is just out to get him. They should leave him alone while he shoots armadillas

I was just telling my wife last night, I can't figure out why Childress is still the HC in Minny. I'm not even talking about his football intelligence, I'm talking about the fact that he is far from being any type of leader.

Your head coach in my opinion MUST be a leader. He is the five star general of team. Then you have field generals which are players.

His bald head and ugly beard do detract from his leadership abilities

wax won't put hair on his head

remember most great leaders in this day and age have full heads of hair
