Id this draft "buzz" is true, then I'm disappointed at the Cowboys tipping their hands. Jerry has never had a good poker face.

I always thought it was the opposite. I wouldn't be surprised if this is gaining so much steam in order to make our REAL draft target fall to us at 9 or a spot we can trade up to(Peterson). Either way, we have enough needs to where we shouldn't go wrong.

It isnt rocket science people...every year if you do enough research you can pretty much peg each team's interested in certain players, especially the teams in the top-10

..............flat out FACT. Same thing goes on with other teams in top 10. Not well kept secrets: only so many outstanding players rated as top 10 picks and only TEN teams with top 10 picks so...................

makes tons more sense to trade down, even if its only a few slots and even if we only get an extra late third, fourth, or fifth, and take Carimi or Sherrod. Better value, cheaper, and gives us either another player or more ammo to move around and get someone we want in rounds 2-5. Plus, I think Carimi will be a stud. Smith may have more upside but I'll take the extra pick.

If Dallas takes him at #9 your taking a RT aweful early. We just dont know yet if he could play LT...its a gamble. He is great athlete but for my money...if Dallas is convinced Free is there future LT and they want a new RT....then trade back and draft Gabe Carimi from Wisconsin. He is big and nasty. Dallas does well with these nasty RT in the mold of Colombo, Eric Williams.

I agree, I would to, but San Fran took Davis last year at 11 knowing he was a RT that has potential of a LT. Smith is the same.
