Pittsburgh fans

If they would step away and look, the Cowboys have been the most popular team in the NFL for over 40 years...

The success and glamor was enhanced by "America's Team"...

This franchise has had a large following for years... even in our 5-11 seasons we were top 5....

What they don't like is that we have fans... and LOTS of them...

We consistently have the largest fanbase and always will IMO...

***** envy is a ***** ain't it...

If we were to lose this weekend (which I don't think we will) we will still have the largest fan base by far...

Face it... Dallas is the most popular team in the NFL... good or bad...

ESPN's whole premise is going negative on Dallas... it's what they do...

As BP noted earlier, their shows are based on being negative on Dallas as it generates ratings...

People want to talk about Dallas...

um i dont understand how sum1 can ''like'' tha steelers as a second team? when the cowboys are number one. and that boss who likes the cowboys and Commanders makes no sense either. sports rivalries is what makes sports great. and people here like both rivals? seems to me your a fan of the sport but not a certain team.

I had a similar post in recent history. But I am angery again

I live in Pittsburgh and EVERONE of these CLOWNS are praying complaining and crying for the Cowboys to lose as soon as possible and not tie them up for superbowl wins.

We are hated by Squeeler fans no real surprise and whoever we play going forward they are there biggest fan.

LET'S GO COWBOYS! GET IT DONE SUNDAY and move one step closer to shutting these goof balls up for good.

I hear ya. I live 40 plus miles east of Pittsburgh and my father-in-law, a die-hard Squeeler fan was rooting for the Iggles last week. I remember vividly in the offseason, after their 6th Super Bowl win, how he predicted they would get their 7th.

I would love to get our 6th this time around. Why not us?

Why is this a issue? Wouldn't cowboys fans doing the same or were doing the same last year?

But I work with a guy, who is a steeler fan and his second favorite team is Cowboys, so he is rooting for cowboys. Now he has lived in Dallas forever, which migh the reason for him to root for cowboys.

But I have weirder boss, who is favorite team is cowboys and second is Commanders. Now that is weird!!!

I've never understood how you can have a second team. Weird.

I did the same thing last year for Pittsburgh - it didn't help me last year, and it's not going to help them this year.

Yeah, my boss is a Commander fan, but says the Cowboys are his "second" team. I told him that was like being a christian atheist - it's just not possible.

I sort of understand the second team thing, like the year of Hurricane Katrina I couldn't help but root for the Saints. When something tragic happens in an area it always increases the following and fans of the team. Things such as the death of Sean Taylor, allowed us, Cowboys fans, to show extreme amounts of respect; maybe even root for them that week. That's what makes football so special.

After that, I agree 100 percent with having a second team that is a divisional foe or just some sort of nemesis is outrageous. Just doesn't make sense. You either bleed blue and silver, or you don't bleed at all. I guess there's just those fans out there who really don't care in the end. That's what I love about Jerry Jones, he cares more about the Dallas Cowboys than anything else in the world. His emotions during games are insanely cool.

I live in Baltimore, and practically most Ravens fans make me want to end up cheering for the Steelers.

I hear you man. These Ravens fans are too much.

I felt the same way about NE. Not a problem, it just shows they have a normal mindset.

Go Cowboys! :starspin

They only cry because they are frauds. Half of their titles are due to horrid officiating. Not just bad calls, but the kind that result in rule changes. Such as..
Pass interferrence due to involutary contact, & uncathable ball. Pitt vs Dal
Instant Replay- the Renfro catch in AFC playoffs
In addition to this you get the other bad calls in the Seahawk & Cardinal games.

Heck, they even have 3 asteriks on their helmet. They must even acknowledge their unworthyness from within.

They are what their helmet say's they are.

Anytime I hear that someone has a second favorite team like you just described...I am thinking that is a fairweather fan. I know you would probably never say that to your bosses face but...that is fairweather dude.

Oh, no, I was hard on him about liking Deadskins. I am in IT, so you are not so afraid of Boss, as long as I know i am good at my job (it also helps I get paid more than him) :D Plus, he is a cool guy.

I think the reason he likes Skins, is that his first NFL game he went to was SB, where Skins played. He is a more like avg fan of cowboys. He likes them, but is not a fanatic. He likes them most likely because he lives in Dallas.

Think of it this way Switz:

Pittsburgh has 6 Championships in their 77 year history. That comes out to 7.8% of their history is championship filled.

Dallas has 5 Championships in their 50 year history. That comes out to 10.0% of their history is championship filled.

Advantage - DALLAS

Pittsburgh has 31 postseason wins in their 77 year history. That comes out to an average of 0.40 post season wins per year.

Dallas has 33 postseason wins in their 50 year history. That comes out to an average of 0.66 post season wins per year.

Advantage - DALLAS
