Play Action is killing defenses

We've been waiting for more than 10 years for Garrett to run an offense predicated on play action.

We are a running team and have been all along. It just baffles me that the old regime never used it much.

We are now seeing how effectively play action is against top defenses and its a thing of beauty.

McCarthy, warts and all, it still way better than Garrett ever was.

Play action, rub routes, pick routes, WR screens, deep routes, misdirection, pre snap motion, ect.....ect....

All things that the horrid Garrett with didnt understand or was way late to the party.

Playaction is effective against most defenses especially aggressive ones and over rated ones like the Panthers, I did not see anything other than blitz packages that made that defense special. They have two fatties in the middle that looked like antuan woods when the rubber met the road.

It has everything to do with him. He said him self that he wanted the team philosophy to attack the match ups and weakness of other team WE NEVER DID THAT UNDER GARRETT. Remember the good ole we are just going to play our offense regardless of the matchups. What we are doing on offense and defense is actually putting together gameplans that attack each teams weakness all while keeping the identity we want.
