It seems like right now isn't the time that the Cowboys are looking to add any players. Sure if someone is cut, they like to say they love their guys, yet a guy like Bryant ends up getting cut. Moves like this presents fans with unreal expectations. You can't low-ball players in the NFL and expect them to take your offer, when other teams are most likely offering more.

What that said, it seems like we will make moves once it's an absolute need. In the mean time, why get happy every time a player is cut, or is linked to us, only for them not to sign with us? At this moment, let's just embrace the guys we do have, and see how much they can grow!! Please give your thoughts

Why do most say they low ball offer to players? We have no idea what they offer, or the situations are.

I guess it is just another way to complain about the team and the FO.

Maybe the offer was higher, but a player felt the situation with another team was better. Such as playing time. Can they be a starter, or just a role player.

Right now there is a full roster, or maybe 1 or 2 spots open. We will not see a lot of movement at this point. Just the usual bottom of the roster churning of a few players.
when other teams release players at the end of TC they may make a few moves.

And I am sure during TC we will get the usual, this guy looks great, but too many players ahead of him. Let's trade him. But that never happens either.

They’re always looking to add players. They just brought in Zay Jones for a look. The OP needs to start following along. Stephen always says the team is open for business 365 days a year.

I dont see the Cowboys doing anything until cut downs but don't trust me I was the one who bought into the ALL IN LOL
Doing what is logical would make too much sense.

I’m not worried.

I’ve been told by Stephen Jones and several posters around here that other teams routinely cut quality players around now, and they will all flock here….so it should be any time now.

Since there’s plenty of time before the games start, no need for concern.

At this point it’s an annual thing for me to realize that those November and December losses actually happened the previous March…..but hey at least our 2029 cap is in order.

well by the way they DON'T choose the Cowboys, something must not be right, hell look at the Leonard/OBJ situations, I'm sure there's others. It may not be a low ball offer, but we can agree that they are cheap and they have their minds on what they want to give said player, said player says no thanks and moves on because the offer was SO GREAT

Not every player available will sign with Dallas, just because they are the Cowboys.
Fans seem to whine about a player signing elsewhere way too often.
Again we have no idea what actually goes on.

because they link them to us and for that reason I can understand to some degree, if we signed every free agent, it would be the Dallas free agents! lol

Do you watch any of the Jones press conferences? Have you paid attention to previous years? There are no dumb questions but there are some obvious ones.

Because the OP knows nothing more than what is shown on sport center. He barely watches games and if a game is on, he's on here asking his usual 1000 questions a day instead of actually paying attention to what's going on in the game.

Listen. This is a process. I know it’s 30 years but it is still a process.
