A)Philadelphia, Dallas, SF win
Philadelphia #1, GB at SF, Dallas at TB

B)Philadelphia loses, Dallas and SF win
SF #1, GB at Dallas, Philadelphia at TB

C)Philadelphia and Dallas lose, SF wins
SF #1, GB at Philadelphia, Dallas at TB

D)Dallas wins, Philadelphia and SF lose
Dallas #1, GB at Minnesota, NY at SF, Philadelphia at TB

E)Philadelphia and SF win, Dallas loses
Philadelphia #1, GB at SF, Dallas at TB

I would love to see "D" happen. The worst scenario I believe is "B". The scenario I see as the most likely is "A".

I believe the NFL will schedule each game at 1pm forcing both Philadelphia and Dallas to play their starters. With both NY and Washington having nothing to play for Philadelphia and Dallas most likely winning.

Would be great to get the second seed and host Seattle. Obviously would need Philly to lose. I feel much more confident with that match up.

The more I read these probabilities there is no way the Giants will try to beat the Eagles. New York is locked and loaded for for the Vikings. It’s crazy how they get the best matchup of all the NFC Wild Card teams. I don’t think the 49ers want to play the Packers either.

You're locking GB into a playoff spot when they haven't clinched one yet. They have to win next week vs. Detroit.

In all these scenarios that I posed GB won at home against Detroit. GB would have to lose and Seattle win, plus the exact combination of Philadelphia lose, Dallas win, SF win for your scenario to happen.

Easiest way to look at it

Well we now have tiebreaker over Vikings.
#1 seed - We need to beat Red Commanders, Eagles lose to Giants and 49ers lose or tie to Cardinals
#2 seed - We need to beat Red Commanders, Eagles lose to Giants
#5 seed - anything else

If we get the #5 seed we are locked in to go to Tampa Bay, if we get the #2 seed we face Green Bay, Seattle or Detroit at home. Likelihood in that order because Detroit needs to both beat Green Bay AND have Seattle lose as Seattle beat Detroit earlier in the season.

Yes, I took the liberty. They have momentum, playing at home, against an opponent they know.

Think the seeds are set, outside the last spot, which will either be GB or Seattle as Lions lose tie breaker.

Probably best case or 5th seed honestly. If we got Greeb Bay, you know how that would end.

Philly opened up as 14 point favorites a little bit ago. Vegas must know Giants are resting starters.

As much as we may 'wish'... Giants would be foolish to play starters.. the best we can hope for is that Eagles also rest players and the battle of the second/third stringers goes our way.

The GB and Jag games will hurt us.. 2 very good chances to secure that top seed and we stuffed it. It is the way we lost those that makes me really nervous about play offs

The matchups as I see it

2/7 Niners vs. Packers
3/6 Vikings vs. Giants

I wouldn’t rule out one of those lower seeds winning

The only seeds that are set is TB at #4 and NY at #6.
I understand, but it’s very unlikely both Philly and 49ers lose at home to lesser teams that have nothing to play for. Yes, there is a very small chance, but not expected.
