Who thinks the cowboys will make the playoffs next year?

My guess is they will not. If Quinn leaves, I'm sure some of the defensive guys will not resign and will hit free agency. I expect the defense to take a step back.

That puts the pressure back on the offense. But daks cap hit shoots up to nearly 50 million. So I don't see them being able to bring in any difference makers, certainly not any receivers. You are already paying Gallup way too much for basically no production. And you have to allocate some money for cds contract that will be happening soon. No way you can afford another high profile receiver.

The eagles will still be loaded and have 2 first round picks. The giants are a team on the rise, though I think they overachieved this year. The skins have a good roster they just need a QB. If they can land someone like Derek Carr they would be much improved.

Normally this team has a down year after a good year (this year being the exception).

I can see them taking a step back. My fear is that Jerry thinks we can win with Dak and starts to trade away #1 drafts picks and making stupid and bad free agency signings. This would put us in more cap hell and no good draft pick for the foreseeable future. I can see him doing this because he isn't getting any younger and he believes in Dak. He is desperate on winning another Super bowl.

Defense should be enough to keep us competing for a spot.

But if the Eagles and Giants keep improving it will make things difficult. I can’t imagine our offense getting any better.

Oh please, the only defensive player that was close to being an imperative resign was Wilson. Fairly sure with Mukuamo’s play the last few games they’re comfortable letting him follow Quinn to wherever he goes. Vander Esch is replaceable. They may try to resign Hankins since he’s not going to be a big contract player anyway. Beyond that it was unlikely they were going to bring anyone else back!

I am sure many will predict a losing record next season, just as they do every season. There is a faction that do that every year regardless. I can see more will do so this next time. And I can’t blame them.

The schedule for a 2nd place team is much harder next season than I have seen. We seen the patsy schedule Philly had this season, but no, not for Dallas.

the combined % is .546 and 9 playoff teams and 6 of those on the road. So yes I see predictions of missing the playoffs.
However I will wait until after FA and the draft before I give any early predictions Or thoughts.

We're not making the playoffs 3 years in a row, especially after losing the best coach on this staff. I'm just glad I'll always be able to profit off my tickets.
