Playoffs?!?

Dude Dallas beats themselves.

The team we played yesterday is liked a watered down Eagles team.

The Eagles will be much better. WE might win our home contest with them but our team will get their panties in a wad when we go to Philly.

I would love to have some faith in our team but how can I?

Not the end of the world but I have entertained those same thoughts.

Locker McCoy Clausen keeps ringing on my ears.

Honestly I think the Boys should have at least gotten a play-maker in free agency or the draft. Somebody like Knox or that Georgia wide out who is the only good thing Mangenious found for the Browns. :bang2:

If this team keeps playing that way it has been, I would think 8-8 is pretty realistic. Offense has to turn all of those yards into points and they can't rise up to the occassion. Say what you will about "how tough" we played the Broncos and Giants, but they rose up to the occassion to take the win whereas this Dallas team did not. That is the mark of a playoff level team and it is what currently seperates this Cowboys squad from being one.

10-6 does not get you in this year, so they'll have to go 9-3 the rest of the way. Both the Eagles and Giants are going, they play the same schedule that we do against the dreadful AFC West. Of Minnesota, Chicago and the Packers, two of those three teams are going as well.

I'm not thinking of playoffs right now, but it's important we beat the Packers and Falcons for tiebreaker purposes. Ditto the divisional games.

I'd also add that the Broncos loss doesn't hurt us in tiebreakers. That being said beating the Chiefs is a must.

And why would they do that?

Because the NFL is all about story lines.

Why do you think we got the Giants in week 2 on primetime?

To show off the new stadium.
